Hello,
my backlight api no longer works. I installed and tested everything and everything, including the API, worked fine.
Now the api in the lightroom publisher can no longer verify. What can be the problem.
It originated after updating the albums from ce 4.
regards
Edwin

Have you updated the API url in Lightroom from the old url needed for CE4 to the form needed for Backlight?
CE4: yoursite.com/ttg-be/publisher
Backlight: yoursite.com/backlight/publisher

Yes, I changed that, it worked well when it was installed. After updating the albums from ce 4-- no more authentication

I have two websites. One works well, this is a clean installation. The other always reports this error. It works well until I install the albums from ce 4.

Are you using the migration tool. How are you “installing” albums from CE4?
Are you using the latest Backlight Publisher Lightroom plug-in (download from your Backlight Modules page)
What’s the api url to the site in question?

yes to all questions.
I use the latest versions. I have updated the albums via the tool in backlight. my api page is: www.vanpeltfotografie.nl/backlight/publisher

when you say it was working before migrating over the CE4 albums, do you just mean you were able to verify?
Or had you already published Backlight albums before migrating? (Which could be a problem)

Yes I could already verify. The only thing I had done was to adjust the templets in blacklight. I am not sure if I had published anything with publisher.

where is your top-level galleries folder? (I couldn't find it by going to http://www.vanpeltfotografie.nl/galleries )
In Publisher settings, are you pointing Publisher at your top-level galleries folder?
I'm almost out of ideas. If this one doesn't work, can you provide a screen shot of your Lightroom TTG Publisher settings and consider posting (or emailing) Backlight Guest Updater or Admin credentials.

One test we can try is to see if someone else can authenticate your API url and key. Feel free to email that and I can try it out on my end.

Hi Rod, the albums are in the folder: albums. This is the default folder that has been taken over from ce 4.
I do not know if this is the problem?

The name of the top-level galleries folder had already been changed into albums.
