The photos I had originally assigned to certain pages made the transition to Backlight2 - but.......
Can't for the life of me find out where to assign a new photo to a page (or for that matter, where the existing photos are assigned). I can upload photos via Designer=>Templates=>Uploaded Images, but that's where it ends.

This hasn't changed. Get the URL from the images list, then use it in page copy as HTML or Markdown.
