Re: help on https certificate

the reason the layout is gone is that the page is looking for the css at an address that begins with http:// rather than https://

Have you made the needed changes in the .htaccess file in the root of the site, as outlined here:
http://community.theturninggate.net/vie … 396#p53396 ?

Also, you need to change the url in Backlight > Settings > Personalisation > Site URL. Right now it starts with http://. Change that to https://

Make sure you make other needed url changes, like to WordPress, Company URL

Re: help on https certificate

might still need some .htaccess work? If you use the link in your initial post, you'll be taken to an error message about a secure connection failure.
the url in your first post is

http://www.ronnymaes.be/

and it's being redirected to

https://www.ronnymaes.be/

and I get the connection error.

If I take out the www, I can get to your site.
removing the www can be handled by .htaccess, I just don't know enough about it to tell you how. Ben will probably need to take a look. He may need FTP access.

Re: help on https certificate

You're still going to need to do something about the www address. If www is in the URL your visitors are going to see an error page.
