Can anyone help with setting the Filename as the Title for thumbnails in galleries created by the CE4 plugin please? I have successfully found a setting for the Filename to be the Title of the enlarged images in the gallery.

Thank you for your suggestion.
I have experimented with the Metadata 1 and 2 settings setting them individually to the filename, all that happens is a white horizontal line is produced where the filename should be.
I have increased the Border-Bottom to 24 px which does not seem to help to display the filename in the gallery thumbnail view.

Can you post a link? This could be something as simple as text color being the same as background color but without something to see it’s all just guesswork.
Also, after any change to metadata settings you’ll need to republish images before changes take effect.

This is a link to the gallery that I have created: http://www.selectivedigital.org.uk/gall … xhibition/
I have tried refreshing the created page in Lightroom.

In the page source code it looks as if thumbnail metadata is not enabled for that gallery.
Under Image Info, are Metadata 1 and Metadata 2 checked? Have you chosen Filename for Metadata 1 and Title for Metadata 2?
After making the change, did you re-export and re-upload the gallery?

Thank you, I have done as you suggested and re-exported the result and I have uploaded the gallery again. You will see the white line that I mentioned earlier. However no filename in the thumbnail view.
Would you like me to send you the template file?

the white line is the top border for the metadata
The text is actually there. It's just that it's the same color as the cell background.
You can change both the border and the text color in Appearance > Thumbnail Grid > Metadata Display
Change these, re-export, and re-upload. You should be able to get away with uploading the index file and the lib/ folder so you don't have to upload the photos and thumbnails. But when in doubt, upload the entire gallery.
And if you wanted just the one line of metadata under the thumbnail, you can uncheck Metadata 2 under Image Info?
