Is there a way to not have the selection and feedback icons overlap the corners of the thumbnail images?

depends on how you're displaying your thumbnails. If using Justified or Masonry, then no. If using Classic, then the icons will be in the frame outside the actual thumbnail.

hmmm... I am using Classic but the icons impend regardless of orientation....

try changing the cell padding and/or aspect ratio

Nice looking gallery. Because your select buttons are the same color as your buttons in the top pallet, you might want to add this snippet of CSS to make the icon visible in the top pallet:

#crg-widget::before { color: #fff; }
