Custom CSS to change cart widget color

I need to change the color of the cart widget that shows up in the top pallet after an item is placed in the cart. Can you give me an idea of the css selector I need to target?

using the browser inspector, this looks like the selector:

.page__pallet__wide > .content > ul > li#cart-widget
