Hi,
Apologies for still being in the dark ages with TTG CE3, it has been working fine up to now. I am aware of Backlight, but don't currently have the time to migrate my site.
Problem is ‘Image Info’ is not functioning properly through the publisher, it doesn't display the info specified and present in the portfolio preview in LR CC. I've been exporting portfolios of images manually via an FTP for years, no problem. I've just created a client specific portfolio on the publisher all works fine except the Metadata is now disappearing. I only need sequencing on the thumbnails 'metadata 1' and on ‘large image caption’ to function. I have tested, it displays sequencing with exactly the same settings when loaded manually, but they disappear when loaded via publisher.
Link to page functioning properly: http://www.hundven-clements.com/client_ … test-link/
Link to page not displaying sequencing: http://www.hundven-clements.com/client- … ity-hotel/
Can anyone help please?
Kind regards,
Daniel

Are you using the correct metadata tokens in the Publisher section of the CRG plugin (in Output Settings)?
If you've made a metadata change to existing albums did you republish the images?

Hi, thanks Rod.
1/ No I wasn't using the correct metadata tokens. I have read through the info again and understand that {CellNumber} is the correct token however this only labels the first image as opposed to sequencing all of them. As seen here: http://www.hundven-clements.com/client- … bb-kontor/
I have tried placing {CellNumber} in both 'Metadata 1' & 'CRG Metadata 1' in the Publisher section of the web module then re exporting the template, uploading and republishing gallery.
Do you know how i get it to label all of the images sequentially?
2/ I'm also wondering if there is a way to automatically update the same header text in Content Area / 'The Block' in all of the galleries without manually copying and pasting the text in to each ‘Page Copy (md)’ in the edit album part of Publisher?
3/ I have 70 online manually uploaded galleries. They conform to the same template I am using for this client portfolio. When I drop one into the new folder it appears on the main index due to the autoindex but it picks up the Album Title as listed when the gallery was exported as opposed to folder name. A gallery is listed as 'Link Arkitektur - DnB' and it appears in the F alphabet section of the index. I'd like to change the title so the gallery is listed by project like the others and appears alphabetical. Is this something I can go in on the coding and change simply, if so where do I find the Album Title? If you look in the F section on this link you can see what I mean: http://www.hundven-clements.com/client- … rkitektur/
4/ Can I specify a thumbnail on these old galleries for the new index? I have tried exporting a template with 'thumbnail.jpg' in Album Info / Album Thumbnail and loading a thumbnail.jpg file to the gallery but it won't automatically select it. I've also tried creating a folder called Custom Thumbnail but that didn't help. Is this something I can resolve. Without publishing all of these older galleries through the publisher.
Thanks in advance for any light you may be able to shed on my bumbling attempts.
Kind regards,
Daniel

1) Have you tried: {CellNumber}/{NumImages} to get the sequence?
I don't know why it would only label the first image. Did you republish all images in the album?
2) I don't recall if this feature was included in CE3 Publisher, but in CE4 and Backlight there is an option under the Page Content tab of the create/edit album dialog box that allows for including the template text. If it's there, all you need to do is to add the text to the Page Copy(md) field of the template and then edit each album to switch on the option of including the template text
Otherwise, you could use phplugins to insert the same text into all albums that use the same template.
3) Sorting is controlled by the album slug, not the title. Ordering is alpha numeric. Change the slugs as needed to get the order you want.
4) On controlling the thumbnail seen by the index: http://ce3wiki.theturninggate.net/doku. … thumbnails
