I am attempting to setup a cart for a gallery and I am running into errors.
Initially when I published the gallery (or part of it) using 'default' under Edit Album > Integration > Cart Pricing Profile in Lightroom it published ok. Once I switched to my own pricing profile I started getting the error below. It's not clear what is setup wrong in the pricing profile. It looks good in Backlight (i.e. has status of 'complete'). I tried creating a new album and setting the desired pricing profile from the get-go, but same error.
Can’t update this collection.

Any ideas what to look at to troubleshoot this?

Can you still publish using the Default pricing profile?

Funny you should ask. Just tried during some more troubleshooting and even when leaving it as 'default' for a brand new album I get the same error.
At some point during my setup I did change the Cart ID setting under Cart > Settings > List Settings > Miscellaneous (mistook it for something else) but have since changed it back to it's original value of ttg_cart_01 and there is no difference. Same error. It was already changed back to the original value when I tried the new album with the default pricing scheme.

At this point I don't mind blowing away the Cart config and starting fresh, since I'm just starting and experimenting, but if there is a proper fix to help other's who get into this situations I'm happy to try it.

unfortunately, the error code isn't too helpful. I think Ben is going to need to take a look. He'll probably ask for Backlight admin credentials to be sent to him.

I have traced the problem to the Photos for Purchase width and height setting under Add-Ons > Cart in the Design Template. My assumption was that the width and height would be maximum values for the photos, but it seems that, perhaps, if the original photo is under those dimensions you will get that error as it cannot be exported at that size.
For example, if I have both width set to 5472 and height set to 3648 (the width and height of my source photo) it works. However if I set the height to 4000 it fails with the message above. I tried setting it to one pixel over the source height (3649) and it still worked so maybe there is some kind of threshold / cache behaviour there.
So... what is the expected behaviour in this situation and how are the width and height settings designed to work? I dug through the doc a bit but couldn't find a reference to those settings specifically and there is not info (?) tool-tip available in the Backlight interface.

It could be that setting an output size bigger than the actual size of the photo makes Publisher throw the error (you may be right about a threshold). I don't think it's like the Lightroom Export function where you can enlarge and image.
It may be more of a Lightroom limitation than a TTG issue, but Ben or Matt will need to address that.

The error message implies that this error was thrown from Backlight, and not from Lightroom. We don't place limits to file dimensions, and I haven't come across problems like this before.
Can you raise the error again, and then find and email me the log files from both your PC and your server, via the Email link under my picture? If the files are large then please zip them.
* On the server, these can be found in /backlight/data/publisher/logs/, in files with the current date, e.g. /ttg-be/data/publisher/logs/2017_02_08.log.
* On PCs, the Lightroom Publisher logs message to files in My Documents/ttg.log. On Macs, this file can be found in Documents/ttg.log under your home folder.

Thanks for the logs. A quick review suggests that the failed uploads were all larger than 10MB. It's possible that that has exceeded the maximum file upload size of your server. Can you log into your Backlight and click on View PHP Info then look for the values for post_max_size and upload_max_filesize?

Looks like that's it. I'll see if I can increase that later today and will try again. It's Bluehost so maybe you can direct me to where the setting can be changed?

You can change it in the php.ini file.
There is also a .htaccess solution I just saw somewhere...I'll post it if I can find it.
It's come up before here in the forum too. Search the forum for "PHP.ini" for more
here's one: http://community.theturninggate.net/vie … 454#p43454

Increased both post_max_size and upload_max_filesize via php.ini, maxed out the Photos for Purchase width and height settings in Backlight (9999px each). Republished from Lightroom. No error. Will keep an eye on it and report back if trouble arises again.
Thanks all.
