menu link to absolute URL resolves to Backlight base

Previous menu URL link that worked perfectly in 1.0 now throws an error in 1.1 update.

Desired link:
http://www.mysite.com/mydirectory/contact-us/

Link delivered (with Paradox 404 error message)
http://www.backlightinstallsubdomain.my … ontact-us/

How to fix?

1. Download Backlight again.
2. Replace backlight/framework/models/MenuItem.php on your server from the downloaded zip
3. Click Backlight > Designer > Clear Template Cache

yes that worked great! like the option to have gallery descendants  shown in the menu as well.

still getting a
Something went wrong
Unexpected error: Undefined variable: breadcrumbs in Album.php on line 315

but that is in another support msg.
