There seems to be a bug in the latest Backlight 110. Children menus are not all displayed. I have "Descend up to 2 levels" set for Galleries, and only the first album set shows the children menus. The other does not. If you look at my website (www.michaelblanchette.com), you'll see that the Europe album set appropriately shows the two-level menu. However, album set New England does not show the submenus eventhough it contains 6 albums.
After installing 110, I cleared the cache as suggested, and reset all the prerequiste modules. This looks like a new bug to me.

I'm seeing something similar on my test site.
I had two album sets in the galleries folder. Both of these showed up with their children in the drop-down menu.
I added a third album set and added an album to it.
But I still have only two album sets showing in the menu with the arrow indicating there are children.

Ben is a few hours ahead and likely asleep by now. I'm sure he'll look into this tomorrow, when he sees this. In the meantime, I know he worked on getting child menus to sort in accordance with album set sorting, and this didn't show up as an issue in testing. Just for the sake of trying something, try changing the sort order of your album set(s), and see whether forcing the update in such a matter kicks things into motion.

reordering doesn't seem to help. Right now I have four album sets, only three showing children. When I had three sets, only two showed children.
also, sorting on the menu doesn't seem to be working. My galleries page is sorted by slug, but the menu is not.

The symptom seems to be that the last of the album sets is always omitted, whereas the others appear as expected.

This is a strange one. I can see this when set to descend up to 2 levels. When set to descend up to 3 the two levels works correctly for me.
I'll need to work on a fix. In the mean time, unless you have good reason to not go beyond 2 levels, setting to 3 should fix the issue with the second level not appearing.

Hi Rod, which site is this on? Can you provide me with a Backlight login so that I can look into this?

I've got mine set to three levels and am seeing the issue as well.
on this page: http://backlight-rb-test.barbeephoto.com/home.php
The top four items in the Galleries drop-down are album sets. The one without the arrow indicating child items has an album set inside that leads to another album.
And just now I ran into another problem. I've added a fifth album set to the Galleries top-level but even though it shows up on the Galleries page, it's not appearing in the dropdown menu

Thanks Rod. I have found one problem that caused the 'depth' variable to decrease too quickly. I'll work on a fix.

I have applied a silent update that addresses this and the issue in this thread: http://community.theturninggate.net/edit.php?id=42753 If you want to apply the fix, re-download Backlight and either replace the entire backlight/publisher directory, or just the single file: backlight/publisher/application/dao/AlbumDAO.php.
The Publisher LR plugin has also been updated, with the only change being the version number displayed now showing 3.1.

Thanks for the quick turnaround, Ben. That fixes my menu problem.
