Wordpress Galleries

Hello,

Do you have an effective pluging council to add galleries in the articles of WordPress.
And is that in the future we can hope to directly add galleries, Lightroom in the articles of Wordpress?

Re: Wordpress Galleries

There is a plug-in out there that will let you manage your media library via Lightroom: https://wordpress.org/plugins/wplr-sync/

There's also this: https://www.imagely.com/lightroom-to-nextgen-gallery/

I have no knowledge of what the future holds for the Backlight WordPress theme.

Re: Wordpress Galleries

Backlight's Wordpress themes support the [gallery] shortcode, and I plan to make improvements to the shortcode galleries in the future.

Backlight and Wordpress are separate applications, though, so we do not anticipate that Backlight's galleries will be embeddable into Wordpress. Images you want to display in Wordpress, you should upload to Wordpress by whatever means you prefer. WP/LR Sync from MeowApps seems like a good option, though I haven't used it personally.

I thoroughly dislike the NextGen plugin, and the very existence of The Turning Gate can be attributed, at least in part, to my thinking that NextGen and Wordpress are both pretty crap at image galleries, and wanting a better solution.
