Okay, so I cannot find how to get back to a header across the splash page vegas slide show. Now is a hamburger icon instead of a header, no matter how big the screen is. Also, how do I add a blog button to the menu?

Designer => Menu Sets, then choose your menu and add a link to your blog.
For your header, scroll down to the last section of this page:
