What .htaccess does BL use?
There seems to many of them aorund.

you can see the code Backlight includes in the .htaccess file by going to Backlight > Settings > Show Advanced Settings (near bottom of page)

You can also use FTP to just download the .htaccess file from the root of your site and open it with a text editor.
