Re: WordPress in backlight

You can run them together in a couple of ways:

/ -- a Wordpress site, with index.php and .htaccess belonging to Wordpress
/backlight -- the Backlight back-end
/galleries (and other album directories) -- managed by Backlight

or

/ -- a Wordpress site, with index.php and .htaccess belonging to Wordpress
/another-site/-- a full Backlight+Pages installation
/another-site/backlight -- the Backlight back-end
/another-site/galleries (and other album directories) -- managed by Backlight

The WP and Backlight managed pages will have their own look and feel.  You can mitigate this by designing a Backlight template that mimics your WP template.

We are working on a Wordpress plugin for Backlight that will enable the export of WP themes based on Backlight template designs, so that the first approach will work as a seamless site.

One other way:

/a full Backlight+Pages installation
/backlight -- the Backlight back-end
/galleries (and other album directories) -- managed by Backlight
/wordpress -- a Wordpress site in a folder (feel free to rename the folder, i.e. "blog")
