What are Apple touch buttons?

Hi,

I also have a related question : on an iPad, when viewing large images, navigation is possible only by swiping (in photoswipe mode). Some visitors told me that they expected next and previous buttons. I understand that this may conflict with the full screen toggle action when touching the screen. Is this "no buttons" behavior intended?

Thanks.

Re: What are Apple touch buttons?

To answer the question of the post topic, the Apple Touch icons are what will appear on iOS devices when you save a site to the desktop (add to Home screen)

Not totally sure on your other question, but Matt always has good reasons for design choices. And it's probable that Photoswipe doesn't include buttons for mobile devices ("swipe" in the name being a clue). Even the demo galleries on the Photoswipe site are swipe only on mobile: http://photoswipe.com/

OK. Thanks. I just wanted to be sure not to have missed something.
