Hello Chaps,
So, I think I get all the login, managed/unmanaged gallery setup stuff. It seems that I have to remove cookies and clear browser history to gat prompted for the gallery login again, is this correct? So how do I get the client to logoff when they navigate away from the Gallery?

The only logout link I see is on the client page showing all albums. The link is:
http://yoursite.com/backlight/client-response/?c=client&a=logout
You could place a button in all your Client Response album templates that are used for CR managed albums. Or your could put the link in the nav menu.
Button code would look like this:
<button class="logout"><a href= "/backlight/client-response/?c=client&a=logout">Logout</a></button>

If you're logged in to the Backlight admin area, then logging in to client managed CR albums isn't needed nor is it possible.
You just need to use a different browser or log out of Backlight before logging into a client managed CR album.

Right, there is no place in the gallery. But there is on the client log in page, which a client will come to if they have more than one album. Assign another album to that client and you'll see it when logging in.
But you can use that logout button in an album for the client to logout with.

Jon,
take a look here: http://backlight-rb-test.barbeephoto.co … -response/
log in: woof@woof.com pw: woof
You'll see a logout button on that page. That's already a part of Backlight. Click on any of the albums and you'll see the logout button I've added.
