Hi
My site is being built as an family archive sharing site and ideally I'd like to offer my relatives the option of downloading pictures at their maximum file size, i.e. as I captured them through scanning.
Is this possible through a setting?
I realise that the display images in default settings are low res for the purposes of fast display but i wondered if there was a workaround, either now or in the future.
Since I store all my originals in DropBox too, I could generate URLs as one way and embed it in the caption but its more elegant to be able to download directly.
Many thanks
Ed

Currently, the highest resolution for the large images is 2000px
Right now there is no provision for including larger downloadable renditions. But I wouldn't be surprised if it got added in the future.
embedding URLs in a caption won't work as you can't use html in captions. (though you could add the url as text and the viewer could copy/paste it into a browser address bar)

I would also love to see this feature like it was in TTG4.

Maybe not native resolution, but hi-res.

Support for separate, larger, downloadable image renditions is coming in 1.0.3, probably to be released next week.
