I am working with the free Lightroom template prior to purchasing the CE4 Gallery and would like to know if there is a way to link directly to a particular image? I would like to be able to bypass the thumbnails page for a few images and link directly to the individual image in sequence and then continue normally from there.
Thank you for any information on this topic.

there is a permalink for each image, this should do what you want
http://ce4.theturninggate.net/docs/doku … permalinks
As far as continuing "normally", that will depend on the gallery type you're using. I use the Highslide presentation. When I click on the permalink icon on an image I'm taken to a single page with the image. There are Next and Previous links that will take me through the gallery but each image will be using the single page presentation rather than Highslide.
You can see how it works here.
Click on an image. When the large image comes up, look in the lower right for the permalink icon. It looks like linked chains.
Click on that and you'll see.

Rod,
Thank you so much for your reply, it looks as though the permalinks will do what I need, I'll go give it a try.
Your photos are very beautiful, thanks again.

Another couple of questions if you don't mind; I can't find how to change the default black background color of the single slides? The permalink php link seems to do what I need and has the correct color of the index page so thanks again for that. Additionally, is the highslide applied automatically or do I need to enable it somehow?

You can choose Highslide under Large Image Presentation:
http://ce4.theturninggate.net/docs/doku … esentation
Large image background color is beneath that and the setting depends on what presentation you've chosen. But look for Background Overlay (for Magnific or Highslide), or Background-color (for HTML: single-image).

Okay got it. On the single image php that I can link to directly, it does not pinch-zoom although the other images do. Is this a limitation, I was counting on that functionality?

Doesn't look like the single image pages do that.

Well that's not a good thing for me, it's the reason I ditched Juicebox after having gotten it all configured... Oh well, maybe one day it will be possible. One last question before I finalize and upload: On the single image php there is a white border around the image that I would like to change but I cannot find a setting for it? Here is what I'm seeing: http://asbcustom.com/test_server/photos … single.php
Any advise?

Appearance > Large Image Presentation:Desktop (HTML: single-image) > Image Border
Change border width and color to your liking.
Change Presentation: Desktop back to your preference (Highslide, Magnific, etc.) before exporting again.
