Hello everyone,
If someone could put me on the path that would be very nice, I can not find the .po file for translating my WordPress theme in French.
Thank you in advance.

You will need to create that file yourself. Here's the relevant page from our documentation:

Hello, and thank you for your response.
Since I do not speak English, I think it will be very complicated for me!
Best regards.

Hi, me again
I do not understand absolutely nothing, there is nobody who can help me to translate the theme in French?
Good evening to everybody.
Best regards.

I would try this article:
http://www.smashingmagazine.com/2011/12 … ess-theme/
Scroll down to the heading "Language Files", download Poedit from the link shortly thereafter, and follow along.

there may very well be. And somebody may have already done it. But they've not seen this post yet.
You may need to find someone fluent in both English and French and have them translate the language files.

Hello,
I managed to perform the translation thanks to Google translate, then I installed the .po and .mo files and it works, except for some who do not want words to be translated:

And perhaps other words.
Do you have an idea of the problem?

It looks like those strings in the comments.php file are translatable.
There may be a better way, but you could always try editing the file directly. (probably best done with a child theme)
And Matt probably has a much better answer.
This seems to be a general WordPress issue. There were lots of results using the search term "wordpress comment form not translated"
https://www.google.com/search?q=wordpre … 8&oe=utf-8
