When updating or uploading images, I get this message saying that it cannot be completed about midway through the upload:
Headers: { [error] => { [errorCode] => "networkConnectionLost" [name] => "The network connection was lost." [nativeCode] => -1005
}
}
Any ideas?

That means your LR is not able to connect with your server. Possible causes: no Internet connection, your site is down, your firewall is blocking, an intermediate firewall is blocking, the server's firewall is blocking.

Thanks. I'll check that out.

Hi Kurt, there are ways to try and isolate the problem. If you're interested, I can message you the API details of my test server to try. That should at least isolate whether the issue is on your end or on the server end.
Also, who are you hosting with? Is it GoDaddy by any chance?

Yes... it's Go Daddy... is this a common issue?

Hi Kurt, do you find that the error prevents further publishing for 60 seconds? If so then it's Go Daddy's denial-of-service rules blocking access. Others have had some success by requesting that Go Daddy update them to the latest cpanel (I'm assuming that means moving the site to a more modern server with more sophisticated DoS prevention), however it seems that that path hasn't been as successful lately. At least one customer had luck in having Go Daddy tweak the mod_security rules, but IIRC that only applies to non-shared hosting.
Here are some discussions on the issue:

Yes, that has to be it. After a minute or so, I can continue uploading.
Thanks, I'll read the discussions.
