Galleries settings do not appear on website

I can make the settings for galleries in "C4 Pages" and "C4 Galleries". If I export and upload both settings only the setting of "C4 Pages" appears on my website. Why do the settings of "C4 Galleries" show no effect?

Re: Galleries settings do not appear on website

Hi Uwe,

That's not much to go on. Can you at least provide a link to your site?

How are you saving your settings?

In the Web Module, unless you click on the "Save as Web Gallery" button at the top of the preview area, if you choose a different web engine for the collection you're working with, all your settings will be lost.
Also be sure to save settings as a User Template in the Template Browser.

Also, settings from Pages don't automatically apply to galleries using the "Share Resources with TTG Pages" feature, some will.

So if you can tell us a little more and provide links, we'll be able to set you right.

Re: Galleries settings do not appear on website

Hi Rod,

because my English is pretty poor I'll send you the address of my website. Maybe you can already see something of it and help me. So here is the address www.boruta-fotografie.de.
In LR I create a template in C4 Gallery and saved this template in the Template Browser where I configured it in the Appearance pane as "Iconic Thumbnails" and then export  and upload it to /ttg-be/templates/gallery. Which configuration I need to make in C4 Pages, so this setting is accepted?

Re: Galleries settings do not appear on website

your English is no doubt better than my German wink

The only differences I'm seeing on your site between your gallery (including your home page Stage page) and the Pages generated pages is in the Masthead. Your gallery and home page have your graphic logo, your Galleries and About pages (from Pages) do not.

Double check the settings you have for the Masthead in CE4 Gallery and the settings you have in CE4 Pages. The Pages settings should be the same as the ones in Gallery

oh, and make sure you have something entered in the "Heading" field directly beneath the area where you set "Use Graphic Identity Plate"

I don't know if this is helpful, but be sure the option to allow CE4 to over write pages is set to yes.

Re: Galleries settings do not appear on website

There's no option in the plugin for this. Are you referring to the Export warning about overwriting?
