Gallery images loading slowly webpage
I need a little help and please do apologize that I am not an expert and that I am doing this to help my wife 
When using the CE2 gallery webpages load at acceptable time. Please see:
http://www.galleri.christinabode.dk/1507061EC-ttgce2/ which is 22,2 mb
When using CE4 gallery with slightly larger thumbnails the webpages loads extremely slow.
Please see: http://www.galleri.christinabode.dk/1507061EC/ which is 39,2 mb
The pagination is a problem too - If I go from page 1 to page 2 and then back to page 1 it needs to load the pictures once again.
What am I doing wrong?

The Masonry layout will often take longer to load because it's relying heavily on javascript. CE2 galleries didn't have that option so it's not really an apples to apples comparison.
