I might be doing something wrong, but my most recent gallery wont show. It just says page not found.
Any ideas for how to fix it?
www.ingvildkolnes.no/gatsby

Thanks, Ingvild

Re: Page not found

check the spelling?

Did you with your FTP program to makes sure it's where it's supposed to be?

(can you post a screen shot of your folder structure?)

Did you upload the entire exported folder or just the files within?

not a lot of info to go on here

Re: Page not found

I can't figure out how to include an img, but can you see the folder structure here:
ftp://ingvildkolnes.no/gatsby ?

I uploaded the entire folder, and think I have done everything I have done before.

Re: Page not found

how to include an image in your posts:
http://community.theturninggate.net/top … our-posts/

your link does no good. It goes to the ftp portion of your server and requires a login. Put any images you want to share in the public portion of your site (usually the public_html folder). I keep mine in a folder cleverly named "screen_caps"

Re: Page not found

I tried uploading the gallery several times and suddenly it works on www.ingvildkolnes.no/webgalleri/gatsby, but not on ingvildkolnes.no/gatsby and not on ingvildkolnes.no/public_folder/webgalleri/gatsby. I think it just started working now in that one location. Any ideas as to why? I copy and paste the url so I shouldn't be possible to misspell..

That won't work either. Place the full URL between the IMG tags

Your first post didn't contain the folder name "webgalleri" in the path, that's why you weren't seeing the page.

ingvildkolnes.no/gatsby and
ingvildkolnes.no/webgalleri/gatsby are two different locations. There should be no surprise that the first one didn't work.

public_html ( or public_folder' if that's what your host uses), should not be part of the URL.

Re: Page not found

that screen shot shows that you've got the webgalleri/ folder in the wrong place.

all of the files that make up your website belong in the public_html folder. When people go to your site, they're actually looking inside of that folder. public_html is the root folder of your site
