We would like to have some text above the thumbnails and some bellow the thumbnails. I'm referring to this page specifically.

Perhaps someone has a brilliant suggestion on how to best achieve this?
On the page referred to, we would like to have the button for "Gutschein" as well as the "Fotoshooting im Studio" under the thumbnails. Is this something that has to be done in the Plugins? Any tips?

You can do this using phplugins.
Set up the gallery template so that the text you want above the grid will be above the grid.
Use the phplugins hook ttg_grid_bottom to insert content after the grid:

You'll need to place the text with html. I'd suggest using the responsive grid framework: http://ce3wiki.theturninggate.net/doku. … _framework
Unless you "aim" this at only one certain page or pages, this text will appear below every album that uses a phplugins enabled template.
There are new phplugins hooks in CE4 that allow you to target albums with a specific template name or an album with a specific slug:
