I used the Client Response Gallery (CRC) to make a new page which I haven't yet announced:
http://kentrosphoto.com/laa.2014/
I would like to use Google Analytics' "In-Page Analytics" tool to see how often people click on each image. Since CRC uses PHP and javascript, would In-Page Analytics still work to tell me how many clicks for each image and/or link?
Has anyone used In-Page Analytics with TTG CE4? Would I need to add any extra code into the page for Google Analytics to track this?
Thanks!

if you haven't seen it yet, here's how to add your Google Analytics tracking code: http://ce4.theturninggate.net/docs/doku … _analytics

Thanks Rod. Yes, I think I added Google Analytics tracking code a while ago. At least the (TTG-generated) page shows up in my Google Analytics account. So I think that should indicate it's being tracked.
I'm just not sure if the thumbnail image links on the page (that enlarge the images) will be recognised and tracked in Google Analytics. Their support isn't real clear on what type of links are tracked in their In-Page Analysis feature.

BTW, I posted this as a new topic because I thought a lot of photographers would be interested in which of their images are clicked and not clicked.
Thanks again.

If I remember correctly, the HTML single page gallery presentation might be best for this as those pages contain the Google Analytics tracking code.
I'm not sure that the Highslide, Touch, or Magnific gallery presentations do.

In Magnific, Highslide and Touch presentations, thumbnails link directly to image files. Clicks are intercepted by Javascript and used to launch the slideshow presentation. So likely Google will not track these clicks, which "return false" in these cases.

Rod and Matthew: Thanks for taking the time to reply. I think I understand now. I suppose I could use a Google tool like "Enhanced Link Attribution" or "Event Tracking" but that would probably take too much time to learn and setup. But if you're curious, here are the explanations:
