Lightroom does not export the image in Adobe RGB

Lightroom does not export the image in Adobe RGB, when I try to download the image is in sRGB, have I missed any setting? When I did the Gallery Templates I chose Adobe RGB (1998) in the section "Image Download for Sale"
The image is photographed and saved as Adobe RGB

Re: Lightroom does not export the image in Adobe RGB

I'm assuming this is a cart enabled album with downloads for sale?

Hard to guess at what's going on without a link though.

Re: Lightroom does not export the image in Adobe RGB

I just tried the same thing. I set up a template with image downloads and downloads for purchase, both set to Adobe RGB.

And both of them download as sRGB.

This was using LR 6/CC. I'll try it with LR5.7 too.

_____________

same thing in LR5.7. Image downloads are in sRGB despite having the template set for Adobe RGB

Re: Lightroom does not export the image in Adobe RGB

We'll take a look. The switches that the plugin provides for the publish service are "AdobeRGB" or "sRGB", which I believe to be the correct color space designations for a publisher service to use, so we'll need to see whether the the publisher is bugged, or whether Lightroom has simply decided not to do what we tell it to do.

Re: Lightroom does not export the image in Adobe RGB

Thanks both for the links.  That helped me confirm that the settings did in fact specify AdobeRGB.

I have made a hotfix to Publisher.  Please download CE4-Publisher-221a.zip, and replace the Lightroom plugin.  There is no need to replace any files within ttg-be/publisher.

Re: Lightroom does not export the image in Adobe RGB

Have you restarted Lightroom?  Have you re-published the images (making sure that "Push metadata without updating existing photos" is *not* checked)?

I created a new album after I replaced the Publishing Service and I started Lightroom.

When you say replace Publishing Service, did you replace the CE4-Publisher.lrplugin files?

Re: Lightroom does not export the image in Adobe RGB

Mats,

I tried both republishing an existing album and creating a new one. It worked in both cases.
did you choose the correct template when making the album?

Re: Lightroom does not export the image in Adobe RGB

Only the files within photos-for-purchase will be AdobeRGB.  Are these the files you're looking at?  (Since they are for purchase, I have no way of looking at them)

Re: Lightroom does not export the image in Adobe RGB

Ben,

FYI
I've got both photos for purchase and photos for direct download in my album. Both are downloading in Adobe RGB as expected.

Re: Lightroom does not export the image in Adobe RGB

Sorry, it points to the Old Publ Icher service, how do I change the path. I can not get up the library when I go through the Plugin Manager

Re: Lightroom does not export the image in Adobe RGB

It's easiest to just delete or move the old plugin files and replace them with the new ones.

I just deleted the existing CE4 Publisher from the Plugins Manager and added the new one from its downloaded location on my hard drive (I keep a folder dedicated to ttg downloads, making it easy to find)

Thanks Rod for confirming that it works for you.  The fix was fairly obvious, hence releasing this update immediately.
