I am looking at creating a new gallery and was looking to us the Grid-type: Freewall (Masonry), however there is no option in the Grid type desktop under the appearance panel. Any ideas why?

double check that you're using the latest version (6.1.5) of CE4 Gallery (look at the top of Site Info for the version number)
(Masonry was added in 6.1.0)

I am using 6.15 accoring to the Zip file I have downloaded.
In lightroom it just shows as version 6

I have sorted it, I tracked it down to an old copy of the CE4 Gallery in a sub directory under my Web Galleries directoy. I just deleted this and I now have the Masonary style.
