Installed CRG4 and LR templates
In lightroom when I click on a CRG4 template Lightroom gives warning below:
The template can not be applied, because the web gallery (id=‘net.theturninggate.web.ce4.autoindex’) is missing. Please install that web gallery and then try again.
Also, plugin quick reference guide stays on screen no matter what I change.

Make sure CE4 CRG is installed correctly

The error you're getting implies that you've clicked on a CE4 Autoindex template in the Template Browser and that you don't have CE4 Autoindex installed.
Scattered throughout the plugin are "Now Showing" drop-downs to choose between Page Preview, Quick Reference, and Typography. You'll find them at the very top of Site Info; in the Typography section of Site Info; near the top of the Color Palette control pane under Content/Description. http://ce4.theturninggate.net/docs/doku … nce_screen

Installation of Web Templates and web engine appear to be correct.
I see them both in LR5.
I also have CE3 there (not sure if this needs to be deleted/is a conflict)
I'm not sure what auto index is ref the LR message (id=‘net.theturninggate.web.ce4.autoindex’) is missing.
Also not 100% BE is installed correctly but I don't think BE has anything to do with the LR warning.

My bad. I think the templates I downloaded were not for CRG. Are there any starter templates for CRG?

No, there are no starter templates for CRG. But you can make your own that are based on any of existing templates
