Publisher and additional gallery index

Hi,

Have now updated from ce3 to ce4 and also build in Publish in my workflow and I must say it is great tool. Will really recomended it to all my friends.
But I have som issues with two things that I can´t get to work as I would like.

1. I have a additional gallery located in the root /landskap and in the menu called "LANDSKAP". Thougt I got it right when I read the TTG Tips and Tricks but it dont work for me. I have created and upload it to /landskap and that part work fine, but I would like to be able to change pictures using Publisher.
Have created at new Publisher  instance with folliwing values:
urklipp1.tiff
When I try to publish change or even if I have the folder empty I get the error message that "Cant update this Collection the album has not been created on the server......"

2. Use the Galleri slideshow for my first page - and of course I also would like to change the picture flow in the slideshow using publish - but as I understand I have to get STAGE for this.

the link to my page is www.choke.se

Sorry for my bad english.

Best regards
Lars

Re: Publisher and additional gallery index

Hi Lars,

1) In order for publisher to post a gallery, the parent directory needs to be an autoindex gallery.

This means you would have something like /landskap/gallery1 for your gallery.

2) It works with Pages. Have a look at http://ce4.theturninggate.net/docs/doku … _home_page

Re: Publisher and additional gallery index

Thanks dl

1, do this mean I have to have autoindex plug-in? Or can I just use my standard Gallery template?

2, I do have created a Pages Template and loaded it to ttg-be/templates/gallery but it won´t show up as template in LT. I assume that i need a Pages template or do I miss something?

Best regards
Lars

Re: Publisher and additional gallery index

1) You need the Autoindex plugin. Export an Autoindex and name it Landskap. Replace your existing Landskap folder with the Autoindex.

2) Pages cannot be used as a Publisher template. You'll need to use Stage to create a Publisher template for a Galleria home page gallery
