Re: error in search

Hi Edwin, are you running the latest version of Publisher? (2.1.3).  If not, please upgrade.
Also, where are you seeing the error?  I'm able to view the search page at http://vanpeltmontage.nl/search/ without issue.

You may need to disable breadcrumbs for the search page.  You can find that setting under Settings->Publisher Settings of the Publisher admin page.

Re: error in search

Hi Ben,

i am running the latest version of publiser.

The breadcrums are disabled en the search page is normal.  When jou search for anything for example : 'test'  then you get aan error message.

Re: error in search

what I find strange is that if I put in anything but "test" in the search field it appears to be working (I get no search results, but neither do I get that error)

do you have any published albums to search? if so, can you provide a url to them?

Re: error in search

Yes thats strange I found this also. When you search for example .jpg you get the error. I seems that the error pops up when i search for something in the galleries.

When i delete al the albums its works just without an error message.

this is the url for the test albums: http://vanpeltmontage.nl/galleries/set- … set/sport/

Re: error in search

there may be some server access issues. For example, I should be able to go to this location:
http://vanpeltmontage.nl/galleries/set- … verify.php
and view the autoindex verify page. But I get a page not found error.

Likewise I should be able to go here: http://vanpeltmontage.nl/lib/autoindex/verify.php to view that page. I can view the
vanpeltmontage.nl/lib/css/ files so the others should be there as well.

Do you have a Pages installation set up on your site? The only thing I get when trying to access a home page is a page not found error. If I take the index.php out of the url I end up at a one.com landing page

Re: error in search

the home page is under construction and not on the server. I do not have an page installation on the server. i have a home page build in dreamweaver.

can this be the problem?

Re: error in search

I don't think it's a problem.

I was going to try searching again but now the error seems to be there permanently.

The error message seems to show problems reaching files in ttg-be and restricted access? Ben would probably know.

you can speed things up by enabling guest access in ttg-be so Ben can take a look

Re: error in search

Thanks for the login. Disabling breadcrumbs for search avoids the issue.

Re: error in search

Hi Edwin, no problem. Unfortunately it's only a workaround. I'm still not sure why the search page is trying to create the 'Home' breadcrumb link, which was the part causing errors.
