I created a gallery in TTG 2014 HTML Gallery plugin. I embedded on my responsive web page and it works well on my computer and on the i-pad. On the i-phone however the large images are cropped and the captions do not show. I can't figure out why this is happening and how to fix it.
The gallery is at: http://www.astreetstudio.com/web_gallery_5/gallery.html
Any advice you have would be appreciated!

this is the way the thumbnails are displayed on a mobile layout. It's a space saver and is by design..

Thanks for the response.
I understand that the thumbs are cropped by design, but on my i-phone the large images (after you click on the thumbs) only show a small part of the image. Any ideas?

are you embedding the gallery in an i-frame? If so, that may be the problem right there.
I've not looked at it on a small mobile device, I've only resized the browser to iphone size, but it all seems to behave normally.

Yeeeaaah ... those frames have got to go, man. The 1990s are long gone. ;-)

So how do you embed it without an iframe?
Thanks - this is helpful

Okay, so I ditched the iframe - used an embed tag and embedded the gallery as an object and it works much better. But still cropping a little bit on the i phone at the bottom. Is there a way to adjust window size? I am currently setting at 100% for height an width for my fluid grid layout. The thumbnail window is also cropping, so that all the thumbs don't show. Assuming the issues are linked, but do you have any ideas?
TIA

well, there's this from the CE3 documentation.

it applies to the Highslide gallery, but you might find something useful.

The galleries are generated as complete pages and are not meant to be embedded. And for the record, embedded and framed pages are not mobile-friendly.

Can anyone recommend an HTML web gallery that can be embedded on a page? Thumbnails, a large image and captions are needed. I used SV Builder in my classroom for years but was trying to show students how to create responsive pages for viewing on tablets and smart phones.

Embedded galleries are not responsive.
To be responsive, the gallery needs to be aware of the total viewport. When you shove a gallery into an iframe, it cannot access the viewport, so cannot be responsive. That's like putting someone into a cell without windows, then asking them to look outside.
If you want something similar to SimpleViewer, then try Juicebox, by the same developer. It's HTML5-based, but offers a comfortable middle ground for people who are unwilling to leave their Flash-based mindsets behind.
