Masonry, Elastic not bound by Block width (solved)

Having a problem with the masonry elastic style.  My site has the page container set to auto to fill to the width of the browser.  The Block is then fixed to 1140.  When using the Masonry, Elastic style it fills to the page container not the block.  The Masonry, Rigid works correctly and is bound by the fixed Block at 1140.  Is this intended or am I just missing something.

Thumbnails aren't in the block, they're in the grid. Grid settings are in the Appearance pane, toward the bottom.
