When I click on an image in search results I don't see the cart even though it is enabled in the template, I have to go to the gallery and then manually locate the image to add to the cart. Is this by design or am I just missing something?

I see in the latest release notes that cart in search is enabled, but I still don't see it after upgrading. Do I need to republish my galleries?

it's working for me without needing to republish any albums.
Make sure to replace your current search gallery template with a newly exported one. Replace Cart and Publisher components indicated in Matt's blog posting.

Hi Charlie, the cart icon is in the page but set to display: none.
When you generated the template you're using for search, did you check the 'Display Add-to-Cart Buttons on Grid' option in the Shopping Cart Integration section? This needs to be checked for the icons to display.

No, because I don't want the cart icon in the grid, just on the full page image display like in the galleries. Since I prefer to use the same template for publisher the icon on grid display results in gallery pages that look way too busy for me. Thanks for the help, I'll just do without cart icons in search and hope they eventually make it to the single image display ala gallery. At least now I know how to make it work on the grid, thanks again.

I'm seeing the same thing on my test site. Cart integration is enabled in my search gallery template.
In the Lightroom preview I'm seeing the cart icon in the large image presentation, but in the search gallery, this icon is missing on the large image.

I've found where the issue lies. It's to do with the 'album' of search results not knowing whether the cart is enabled for the photos (which can only be determined by the albums that the photos reside in). We should have a fix with the next maintenance releases, but have no schedule for that at this point of time.
