I have read through the tutorials on the products I have currently and understand how to get my rss feed and my Faceboook ID #, but want to better understand why I would include them into my information when designing in TTG. I do not see a link or any reference to it on my uploaded pages. help?

Re: Blog feed
Some browsers detect the presence of a feed and will include an RSS button in the toolbar. Users can click this button to easily access or subscribe to the feed.
Re: Facebook ID
This setups up the Open Graph Protocol for Facebook. You can read about Open Graph Protocol at http://ogp.me/.
