Image quality

As a new guy I feel like I am coming along quite well, but ---
Question- my images on my website are not tack sharp. The image in the Lightroom Library is tack sharp, yet in the  CE3 Gallery template in Lightroom the are not that sharp niether are they when opened on the web - what am I doing wrong?

what are your image size, quality, and sharpening settings set to in Output Settings?
I find that the default quality (70) and Standard sharpening work pretty good.
