Help learning and designing

Is it possible to see the settings from someone else's site if you want to make an area of your sites have the same or similar design?  I have seen sites created with CE3 and wonder how did they create it. I want to use others work as a learning tool when designing my own site.

Thanks

you could use developer tools in Google Chrome or Firefox (Firebug) to look at the CSS and the effects it has.

You could also look directly at the css files

If you're curious about what features you're seeing, you can also point us at a page and ask. We may not give you specific slider values for settings, but we can pretty easily identify which features are being used and in which plugins.

Re: Help learning and designing

Thanks I will, I've seen some that I like a lot and would like to emulate their style.  I don't want to copy but I don't want to reinvent the wheel either.
