Does Backlight work with Capture One or just Lightroom?

Re: Capture One

Just Lightroom. If you can export jpgs from Capture One, you can upload them to albums using Backlight Publisher

Re: Capture One

To be more specific, we only have a Publisher plugin for Lightroom Classic.

But you can export JPGs from any software, and upload them into Backlight. I personally use Capture One Pro as my primary processing software.

Re: Capture One

Hi mjenuch,

If it helps, I use Photo Mechanic to sort through, crop and export photos ready for backlight.  Handling the meta-data for search is brilliant.

Re: Capture One

After changing from LR to Capture One one year ago, I  find quite more easy to export from CO and upload to Backlight than using the Publisher plugin. Even if I were still using LR (which would be a big mistake from my point of view smile  ), I would abandon the Publisher route and use the straightforward way of directly uploading. I think that this is one of the big improvements Backlight has. You have absolute control of the uploading process, with LR you can find some issues from time to time...at least that was my personal experience...
