Hi,
I have this temporary site i'm building, im trying to reduce the white space above the image slideshow on the front page. The space between the images and the site menu. So when on a laptop computer, the user doesn't have to scroll up to see the full image. I went to every setting on the Home Page, Page Templates, and album Templates. Couldn't find the one on how to reduce it.
Id appreciate your help on this modification.

looks like you've set the aspect ratio for the vegas slide show to 1:1. this makes the container the same height as the width, which results in what appears to be extra space above the images.
you can see this by making the background color something other than white.
If all the images are landscape, try setting it to 3:2

Many thanks, that was it. However, now it shows good on a laptop, and to high up on a big monitor or mobile device. Is there a way to make it appear centered on the browser? No matter if its big or small monitor or mobile device?

There’s a margin-top setting, but that will apply to all displays
Other than that, you might experiment with custom css and media queries that address different browser sizes

If you want it centered always, then you might try a full-screen design, and simply do not upscale the images.

Just make sure that you size your images so that they don’t need to be up scaled when the full page slideshow is viewed on larger monitors.
For example, if you set the image renditions to 600px and the page is being displayed on a monitor that’s 1600px wide, you’ll see a lot of pixelization.

With the Vegas slideshow as full-screen, set Image Scaling as "Cover" ...
The Galleria add-on might also be worth a look for this.
I would need to play around with it to say specifically what settings would be ideal. I haven't designed with them in a while.
