Updating to SSL on new host

I have moved my website to a new host, one with an SSL certificate.  To make the pages secure I have updated the template with links using https: instead of http:.  So i started by making a new login template, but despite me updating and transferring via ftp, is not loading the new links.  So i am receiving a message that parts of the page are not secure (e.g., images).  Here is a link to one of the log in pages (the web and other links i have updated but are not reflected): https://svphoto.ca/download/2019_ooch/

What i don't understand is why the new template i created is not loading properly.  I have checked that it is the selected on on the back end.  And how do i make it completely secure?  I am not sure if it is something with the new host, or if there is a problem on my end and whether the two issues are related or not.

Thanks in advance, Steve

Re: Updating to SSL on new host

I figured out the log in screen thing.  I was updating the login template but it was not technically a CRG gallery.

But I am still having problems getting the green pad lock on the site.  It is saying that some of the items on the page are not secure.  I am assuming that it is my logo on the top of the page, but perhaps it is something else.  Any idea how to get that to access the image from the https: side of things instead of the http:?

Re: Updating to SSL on new host

Did you use https in the site url of the new template?

How is your logo being loaded?

it might help if we had an album to look at

Re: Updating to SSL on new host

Thanks for the response Rod,

In the new template, under root url, I put the https:.  The logo is the masthead that is being set up Lightroom, so I'm not sure how it's putting it there.

You can see what I mean, just by the link provided for the login page (https://svphoto.ca/download/2019_ooch/)  Once you login, it is fine and secure, but for the login page there is no green padlock.  Anytime passwords need to be entered, and it is not secure, it makes clients nervous.  There is no green padlock.

I'm seeing the padlock on your login page in both Firefox and Chrome

try clearing browser cache?
