I have thousands of articles my grandfather wrote. Unfortunately before a digital age. All nicely sorted only by Date, not topic.
The articles were scanned, poorly so any OCR just does not work on newspaper articles 40 years old.
I hope Client Response can help.
I want anyone (family..etc) to go to the site, read articles and make comments. But the comments need to be searchable by anyone.
Can Client Feedback do this?

I believe that images in Client Response albums are not searchable.
This is because the search function is global for a site and Client albums tend to be private.
Besides, the only searchable fields are image metadata fields like file name, caption, and keywords. User added comments would not be searchable in any event.
I’m wondering if there may be a WordPress plugin or theme that can do what you want? Maybe something geared toward genealogy might have features similar to what you ‘re looking for.
