I've done that same thing a number of times and while I keep manager open, it does not indicate that it's "not saved". However, if I close manager and open it again, it indicates that it is "not saved".

I've got publisher up and running and it seems to be working just fine. I can publish and republish albums and images and do so from not only the 2015 catalog but also the 2014. Once again it is really slick. So I think the the fact that the instance does "not save" may be just a quirk as you stated. On the other hand, I'm also thinking I may run into problems down the road that may be related. I have no idea how.

Is there a place where I can learn more about the function of the templates? I noticed that you have a number of templates all with specific names. I'm wondering about the advantages/disadvantages of multiple templates and one in particular i.e. CE-gallery-standard-fotomoto.  I will be setting up an account with fotomoto soon and if there is advantage of having a specific template for them, I'd like to know. BTW-I changed the name of my template to something more descriptive.  That really helps. Also, does each template need to function with it's separate instance? Perhaps a broader question is, "Where can I learn more about the function of multiple instances?"

Here's what I did and the outcome. 1. I made a new gallery the old way i.e. In Web> rendered>exported>uploaded (Filezilla) into galleries. The images did not have the numbers on them. That's what I want. 2. Then I tried to do publish the same gallery using publisher. I got the images with numbers on them-back to square one. I think I can conclude the problem is some thing to do with Publisher-correct? 3. I uploaded a third gallery to ttg-be/templates/gallery and nothing showed on my site. 4. After I uploaded the gallery in 3, I tried to publish again using publisher and got the images with numbers again. I did it because you suggested I do so, and I thought it might have made some difference.

It seems to me you are probably going to recommend I try creating another publisher instance as you stated in communication 27. I'm going to need more direction on how to do that. It seems you are suggesting that I do something to test a hypothesis. I not only don't know how to do it, even if I did it I would not know how to interpret the results. Might it be better for me to start completely over. At least I could use the directions I used the first time. I know I would lose at the settings, including the port settings that Blue host gave me, but at least I would have some semblance of understanding on how to do it. What do you think?

I want to get the workflow to solve the problem straight as well as ask for help where I need it. I need the latest version of Publisher. To accomplish that I'm trying to download it from the TTG site but can't find a way to do so. That will ensure that I have the latest version-correct? If so, how can I get the latest version from your site. Then after I unpack it, I use filezilla to delete the current publisher and replace it with the new one that I just downloaded- Correct?  The I go to the TTG-BE folder, log in and then do what?

Do you have more than one CE4 Publisher instance set up? If so, are you using the right one? ANSWER: It's possible that I'm using two. How can I either tell which one I'm using or can I just pick one and make sure it's the right one and all connections are made to that folder?

did you ever send that log to Ben? ANSWER: No, I didn't see a need to as it seemed to be working just fine.

New Question...I'm using Filezilla. They have a new version. last time I downloaded  a new version, it did not work well. At your suggestion I went back to the old one. Do you know if anyone has had trouble with the latest Filezilla and if so is there an easy fix?

I have good news and a few more questions. The good news is that it publisher is working just fine. I've worked with it for a few days and across catalogs and it's performing as it use to and as expected. Although I'm not 100% sure , I think it had to do with the changes bluehost made in the ports, etc. in relation to the e mail question that they solved. I assumed the e mail problem was unrelated to the publisher problem. Once the e mail problem was solved I went to work on publisher but did not try to publish anything at that time. After a few days, and on a whim, I tried to publish again and it worked. I was shocked but I'll take it. When it works, it is really slick and so easy to publish and republish. Now my questions...

1. For future reference, I'm unclear how to put the screen shot image in the browser. I tried going to Filezilla, finding the folder, "screen_caps2", right clicking and then copy the URL to the clipboard. When I pasted it, it said I was in public_ftp. It was clearly under public_html. How do I put the image in the browser so as to allow me to copy it?

2. Should I rename Screen_caps2 on my site to make it easier?

3. How do I get rid of the file names on each images as they appear on my site. i unchecked it in Image Info-metadata 1, then rendered it (control R), then updated the settings in the template and it still shows up on the images on my site. I also went to Output settings, Publisher setup, metadata 1 and tried to remove file number. But there was no way to have nothing there. I left it on file number.

4. Do you guys still support Fottomotto as a good way to allow clients to buy images from my site?

I triple checked the characters in what I sent to you. Everything matches. Is it possible that I need the www after the slashes. If so, here it is. http://www.martinjenichphotography.com/ … 22_15.jpg. To be clear, "screen_caps2" is a self-created folder on my site under "public_html" . It's at the same level as all other folders.

Here's the screen shot. Unrelated question...How can I tell if I have the latest versions of CE4? Also unrelated, I just watched part of a video on how to install CE4 in 20 minutes. Would it make any sense at all for me to start over completely. That is, start with a new download of all the parts of CE4, load them in LR5, redesign the pages and galleries. I'm thinking I can keep the TTG-Be files/folders on the Site. It may be easier to start over rather than try to fix what is wrong. BTW-I right clicked on the data folder in TTG--BE and noticed that the numeric value was 755. Should it be 775 or 777? I'm using Blue Host and I'm on  PC.

I was able to get it to work. But I had to get on tech support with Blue host. They had to develop a work around. It had to do with g mail not working on the port (465) that they set up.

The updates from just a few days ago. I have the CE4 bundle. I'm talking about publisher and TTG-BE.

I noticed there is a publisher update. Any chance that simply updating publisher will fix my problem. Is it worth a try or will it just make things worse?

OK I'm back in File Zila as I found a work around. The folder on my site where the screen shots are is  : [img]martinjenichphotography.com/public_html_screen_caps2[/img].

Also, on your site I'm getting a new request for a password. I enter the password that I think is correct but it says the the "503...authentication failed" or something close to that. Is that anything that you can help with?
