Thanks. By the way, in looking at the code in Inspector, I can see that the Font Family is appropriately assigned (ex. Lato) but it seems that the Google Fonts are never loaded, so they always default to the next font family in line. On the surface, it looks like the @import statement is never processed. I've verified (several times) that I'm using a perfectly correct @import.

How can I add the Search function on a custom page? I can't seem to find any reference to Search other than under Publisher Settings. What am I missing?

Thanks, Rob. I was looking at options in TTG Publisher in Lightroom and I missed that option on the server. The index works as expected now, so it's just the menus that are not ordered.
From what I can see, the "Order by Slug" option only exists for Album Sets and not individual Albums. I'm assuming that slugs are used for positioning the albums like they were in CE4? And yes, I did set it for Album Sets but the option is not being respected.
One more question about Google Fonts. Many of the Google font names involve multiple words like "Alegreya SC Regular". How should we enter those family names under Prepend Font-family w/? In other contexts, I've seen the Google Font names enclosed in single quotes, double quotes, or with a + to fill in for the spaces. Or do we enter them as is with the spaces? I can't seem to get any of the scenarios to work.
Also, the slug order is not honored in the gallery index. If you click on the Galleries top-level menu without picking a submenu, the gallery named Recent Work should appear first in the index because I assigned it a slug name of "a-recent-work". But it appears in name order rather than slug name order in the index.

I have a 3-level menu and the sort order of albums is not consistent. It almost seems as if the slug names are not used to determine order of albums. For example, both my album sets appear at the top of the menu list despite their slug names. And if you look at level 3 of the menus, the sort order of items seems almost random. I've assigned slugs to dictate the order or albums and sets and they seem ignored.
The gallery index also has a few issues. In particular, I have a gallery with a slug named "a-recent-work" to force it to the top of the index, and it still shows up in title order (rather than slug order) in the index as well as the menu. If you press Galleries from the menu without choosing a sub-menu item, you can see that behavior.

Still having a lot of trouble with Google Fonts. Even if I enter the exact code in the example given above, I get no results. I also ran inspector and it reports three font errors every time a page loads (with no Google fonts in the picture). It complains about error 404 on the server, "Failed to load resource". The errors seem to be generated in trying to load the fontawesome fonts. Maybe that's why I'm not getting results.
And a related question: what do you use in the Font Family dropdown when specitying a Google Font? Do you pick the blank family in the middle of the drop-down? I've been playing with Google fonts for several hours and can get no predictable results.

Is there any info on the new @import option under the Typography tab in Backlight Standard Page template? I use Google fonts and tried to include one to no avail. I verified that my CSS is linked and working, so it seems as if the font is never loaded.
I entered statement in Typography: @import url(https://fonts.googleapis.com/css?family=Alegreya+Sans+SC);
And then added this code to my CSS file to change the font of menu items:
li.menu-item a {
font-family: 'Alegreya Sans SC', sans-serif;
}
I can change other attributes of the menu items (such as size) but the font never changes. Am I missing a step?

With nested menus, hovering over the top-level menu causes all submenu items to inherit the hover color even when not selected. You can see the behavior on my test site here: http://www.mabtesting.dreamhosters.com.
Do you want me to send you a file from the server? I verified that the behavior persists even after turning off the Maps.
I've set up a small test site to play with Backlight. Sure is easier than from Lightroom! There's one problem so far that's causing me to scratch my head. I created an album to display a masonry-style gallery on the Home page. After uploading, it shows up under Galleries exactly as expected, with a nice alignment of photos. But when I attach that same gallery to the Home page, the masonry alignment is completely off.

As you can see, the masonry alignment is off on the Home page but fine in Galleries. Thoughts?

Thanks, Rob. That fixed the problems I was having with thumbnails.
Using large thumbnails in either the albumn or albumn index causes them to appear in very low resolution and quality. Am I missing a control somewhere? I'm using 280 for thumbnail size. It happens everywhere and the Style doesn't matter.
I'll check but it was working fine with CE3 so unless CE4 is doing something funky that causes the firewall to object...
Still cannot authenticate from a different Mac here so it's not my desktop.
Thanks, Rod. Well, that's just weird. So it would seem to be an issue on my desktop then? I'll try it on a different machine to see what happens but I still can't authenticate from my Mac.
I just upgraded my site to CE4 from CE3 but can't make Publisher work no matter what I try. I get "Unable to perform action: CheckAuth" error in trying to authenticate my site from Lightroom. I can get to TTG-BE just fine (michaelblanchette.com/ttg-be/admin/) but Lightroom is refused access.
This is not a new site nor a new host (DreamHost). I verified that I'm running PHP version 5.4.36 and that both SQLite and PDO modules are enabled. I'm lost where to go from here except manually FTP all my galleries to the server (taking me back 2-3 years in progress). Any ideas?
