#51 Re: Backlight Support » Seeking Backlight Contact Form Resources » 2017-06-18 08:08:50

That's a perfect fix Rod, thank you!

Where does the code for the "Address" field originate? I can't seem to find how to turn that off. I don't need to request that info from clients. I thought perhaps that would be in Backlight Settings, but not so.

Backlight Crew,

What sort of resources can lead me to customizing the placement of the contact form fields?
http://www.quatrainfotographic.com/?page=contact

At this point, I'd simply like to get the fields to queue up top to bottom. They appear to be "stuck together" on their ends. I assume that some media queries are going to be in order?

Thanks,
Don

That did the trick and worked just as I'd hoped, Daniel.
Thanks very much!

Backlight Crew,

Been trying to get articles to flow in my custom phplugins file.
Here is the Backlight version of the homepage <http://quatrainfotographic.com/index.php>

I'd like to get those articles to wrap similarly when the page breaks, but can seem to figure out how. I managed to design this into my previous version of the homepage <http://quatrainfotographic.com/index.htm>

All custom CSS resides as directed in custom backlight file & folder, and the page targets that in Advanced Customization menu in page settings.

As of now the code for the articles are wrapped in the ttg_copy_bottom hook in phplugins.
Any ideas?

Thanks for your consideration.
I'm very, very pleased with Backlight so thanks for doing such great work!
Don

Hey, I've been browsing thru the Backlight documentation and demos but don't see any mention of Fotomoto being integrated into Backlight. I'm assuming that this will present itself once the Cart for Backlight is launched, yes?
Really like what you guys are doing…
Thanks!

Hi Rod,
Clearing the preferences didn't fix that TTG icon issue, but so be it. Looks like I'm just due for a new computer in the near future.

I've been busy in the meantime, and I'm very pleased to share this link…

Thanks again for all your valuable insights…
TTG rocks!

#57 Re: CE4 Publisher » TTG Icon doesn't appear in LR Publish Service Header » 2015-11-06 13:05:11

Marvelous! Thanks for revealing this command… I had no idea that was there.
Now… I can plainly see these PNGs, but how does LR get to see and display the icon in the TTG CE4 Publisher Header? Drag and drop into the Publish Manager window doesn't work. Feels like I'm just one cloaked-click away from solving this caper!

#58 Re: CE4 Publisher » TTG Icon doesn't appear in LR Publish Service Header » 2015-11-06 10:33:58

Here's how it unzips on the older machine, MacPro…
Can't "open" the CE4-Publisher.lrplugin, as it is not a folder.
https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/988 … MacPro.png

Here's how it unzips on the newer machine, MacBookPro
https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/988 … ookPro.png

I realize that the icon is nested inside the plugin, and only accessible when loaded into LR. There's no other way to get access to the icon.

#59 Re: CE4 Publisher » TTG Icon doesn't appear in LR Publish Service Header » 2015-11-06 05:24:40

Hi Rod,

When the ZIP file is unzipped, no "supporting_files" folder can be found anywhere within the Publisher folder or its subfolders [and of course no ttg-icon.png either].

Didn't rename the plugin...

As I mentioned, the icon appears and the plugin works without producing an error message on a newer machine.
At the end of the day, it's eye-candy, and the missing brand/logo doesn't make any impact on the functionality of Publisher. I'm sure you guys [developers] have bigger fish to fry than this.

#60 Re: CE4 Publisher » Pulblisher in Lightroom 4.4 has error messages » 2015-11-06 05:13:16

Hi Pat,

My machine is producing the exact same problem. Running an older Mac tower with LR v5.7.
https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/988 … _LRCat.png
I also got Publisher via the bundle download on 01Nov15. I was wondering if anyone else had experienced this.

Still a mystery to me as to why it doesn't work. I've removed the Plugin and reloaded a few times; stored it in a high level system folder; and tried opening a new catalog to install. Same folder with question mark icon appears. Things are uploading just fine, but it rather unnerves me that the plug-in appears "down" and acknowledges with diagnostic error messages that it's incomplete.

When I install the plugin on a newer, MacBook Air & LR CC all is well... icon and all. Like Ben conveyed, it must be something specific to an "old-system" anomaly.

Regards,
Don

Upgraded my ISP account to Linux cPanel via GoDaddy, and all server issues are resolved. Template and new galleries are loading in.
There is however this one nagging, little thing, however.

https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/988 … _LRCat.png
Why doesn't the TTG icon load? Diagnostic report from LR Publish Service dialog confirms that there's no icon available. I've deleted and re-install the plug-in a few times. Perhaps I need to re-install LR? Running v5.7.

I'll follow up with my service provider to inquire about the permission setting number, and other issues. It'll be a couple days until I can post an update here. Thanks very much for the valuable leads.

#63 Re: CE4 Publisher » TTG Icon doesn't appear in LR Publish Service Header » 2015-11-04 11:38:25

Hi Rod,
I did a clean install of all TTG components with Fetch FTP software.
Deleted previous versions. Did the Admin set up to be sure. Set permission to folders to 755.

Re-located template to URL you noted, as it was misplaced by one level.
Re-wrote the template from my laptop, in LR6. Re-installed Publisher Plug-in.
Uploaded new gallery via LR TTG Publish Service.

Inside ttg-portfolios, sophiasenior is the new gallery which should be using the "client_portfolio" template. All that resides inside that folder are folders "photos" "thumbnails" & "thumbnails-for-mobile". Other than 'auto index.xml' and 'gallery.xml', there is no index page, or any other supporting files that should've been written from the template.

I'm stumped and fatigued trying to solve this.
Sorry to be such a lost child here. With that said, I'm honored to be in the 'dreadful' hall of fame!

#64 Re: CE4 Publisher » TTG Icon doesn't appear in LR Publish Service Header » 2015-11-03 15:27:00

client_portfolio

As in... ttg-be/templates/gallery/client_portfolio

FYI...
Installed Publisher Plugin on my MacBook Air and TTG Icon shows up just fine. Got confirmation of API Key.
I'm wondering if my desktop computer is getting too old for this era…?
2005 Mac Pro [silver tower]
2 x 2.66Ghz Dual-Core Intel Xeon
5GB memory

I know that I've hit the ceiling when it comes to Mac OSX, but is there an issue with recent TTG current versions and older processors? Just curious.

Thanks for all your time and thought.
Don

#65 Re: CE4 Publisher » TTG Icon doesn't appear in LR Publish Service Header » 2015-11-03 13:34:11

Yep. Moved the plugin back into the Modules folder where I originally had it. I mis-read your post to put it into the Web Galleries folder.
Still no resolve to my situation, which is disappointing to say the least.

Maybe I'll try installing this on another machine to see if it works.

I have a template installed in ttg-be/templates/gallery but Publisher doesn't appear to see it. Only folders of images get uploaded, without an index.php, etc.

Thanks for the insight, Rod.

Unzipped and installed as demonstrated in Matt's video tutorial.
Tried extracting and installing twice now.

I re-installed the plugin in the location you suggested, and the Status messages says: "This plug-in is enabled, but has encountered some problems". In the left side bar of LR Plug-in Manager dialog, under TTG CE4 Publisher it says, "Installed: may not work"

Hi all,
I'm getting publisher set up and so far, I'm very impressed, but…

The TTG icon doesn't appear in the Lightroom Publish Services, and the plug-in manager says "it may not work".
When I publish images, having chosen a gallery template, image folders get uploaded but the pages don't populate.
Sure must have missed something in the set up.

Any ideas?
Thanks,
Don
