Is there anything in Backlight that would cause a browser delay(3-5 seconds) in accessing my website and I get momentary notices like "site cannot be reached" and "checking Proxy and firewall" or "resetting" It only happens occasionally and with both IE and Google Chrome. It never happened before the recent Backlight update. Sometimes I can get right in and then randomly there will be these delays and notices and then the site loads. I am using Norton Security with their default settings. Not a big deal, but something new.

not that I can see. I uploaded a test folder using each publisher and they both worked and I then deleted them and they worked. So I should leave well enough alone?

I did the recent update and everything seems to working fine but in my setup I am using two instances of Publisher services and have a second top level gallery called "gallery2". Since 1.0.1 updated "galleries" should i do anything with my "gallery2" or is it automatically updated too?

Sorry Rod, I didn't read your comments until after I sent my last message. I need to make sure I understand what I did as well, but on the surface this is what I was looking to do. All the work was by publisher, almost.

Earlier today I played around with it earlier and came to the conclusion that the publishing service was not going to put the albums anywhere but in galleries. I understand how this will work. Great. Will work on it tomorrow.

on my home page I would like to have: Home, Galleries, B&W Galleries, Contact, Search menu items
clicking Galleries goes to separate page with albums like now and clicking B&W Galleries goes a another seperate page with just B&W albums

the text I meant was the gallery page copy since it would be different than the other gallery page. I thought there was a dropdown where Home page or something was an option.
I just want the menu for the B&W gallery to show on main gallery page but I want a totally separate gallery page for B&W.
What is the best way to backup my site as it is now? Just copy the Backlight folder from the server?

I have decided thatI want another Gallery page for just Black &White photos.
Follow me on this and tell me if it is correct, please (I am not a web designer but usually muddle thru)
First off, I “clone” my Album Set Template
name it “bwgalleries”
Add some text and assign my current home page to it.
Save
Then I go to Design Menu Set section
ADD a new Menu item called BW Galleries
set URL to bwgalleries
and then reorder so it under Galleries
Save
In Lightroom , when I create a new album for B&W I would select the “bwAlbum” set from the Template selection (which now should be there?)
Is this all correct ?

Switched to classic.
I noticed some erratic spacing but didn't seem that bad to me. I have noticed that if I am careful with the Publisher album description information that I get better stacking .

Ok, just to make sure and clarify. using in my case using Filezilla this is where I would go and delete the album?
When you say within backlight I thought it was part of the address.
Are these the location for Backlight below?
ftp://jswphoto@ftp.ipower.com/public_html/galleries
Just want to make sure I understand for nextime

Started the switch late last night and had a few minor problems due mostly to not reading the documents but eventually figured it out. So much easier that CE4 in my opinion. I always dreaded those plugin updates and had to re-familiarize myself with the install procedure. My wife is an artist and I think I will set her site up next. Backlight seems a lot crisper and cleaner to me for some reason.
Now I just need to fine tune.

I really (love) Backlight. So much easier than using CE4.

I accidentally uploaded a CE4 album that was part of an old CE4 set and then tried to deleted the album and images from lightroom but I am now left with some album thumbnails in my my gallery. When I click on one of the albums I get the following message.
"Something went wrong
The template could not be found for id in GalleryDelegate.php on line 252"
When I click on the two other albums I just get an empty album
Things were going great and all was well.
Is there a way I can delete these empty Icon manually ?

I think I found problem, I had "one column, no tray selected, changed to one column and tray selected. worked now

Thanks for quick reply. I checked the navigation, trays and it is set to "on Mobile" still now menu on Samsung tablet, Ipad, or Iphone
Tray 01 selected.
