I think so. Eventually I did get it to link to connect thru the Publisher > Top-Level Galleries settings. I'm not sure that's the right way, but the menu link now works. Thanks for the time.
I just updated Backlight to 1.1.1 today. I created a new Album Set today named "projects" as a clone from an older Album Set "prints".
BUT when I go to the Menu Set Design and want to link menu item "projects" to the Album Set I created today "projects", the new Album Set does not show up. The only Sets that show on the drop down menu are ones I created months ago.
I have cleared the template cache multiple times.
This has to do with the menu item the art>projects on www.wtgphotos.com. The other menu items seem to be linked fine, because they are older templates than 1.1.1...?
Thanks as always for the time and help!

Sounds great and thanks for the clarification! I keep mine on an external drive but it's in an array, so will copy back and forth after I get back.
Thanks again for all the help!
Looks like I move the catalog from the Pictures folder as well as the primary files to a hard drive.
Re-open and reconnect in LR on the laptop between the catalog and pictures.
Do my work.
Copy both catalog and pictures to their original place when returning home and re-sync as necessary.
?Right? Sorry, just checking as I am the king of screw-ups...
Going on a trip and want to continue to populate my site with the Publisher album set and album settings from my desktop to my laptop. I don't see a way to export these settings from within LR. Any suggestions or directions?
Thanks for the help and time!

Looks like things are working great now! Thanks for the help!!

Yes it was the same as my 2016 images in LR, but based on your question I recreated a 2015 album set from scratch in Publisher and that seemed to make a difference in Backlight so I could now see the gallery. I don't understand it, but now it seems to work.
Thanks for the time and thoughts!
Terry
I created a page for 2015 pictures as a clone based on a fully-functional page for 2016 pictures.
I created an album set for 2015 pictures as a clone based in a fully-functional album set for 2016 pictures.
However when I open the 2015 page and chose Insert Album Set, the drop down does not show the 2015 album set to insert.
I have cleared the template cache several times and reconstructed the page and album set several times without success.
Thoughts??
Thanks as always for the help!
Terry
Ok, I'll take that as a it's-working-ok-now
Thanks and I'll keep working.
Ok, so getting there. I changed the htaccess file and I can now download.
However, the downloads are about 2-3 stops darker than the original.
Any thoughts on this one?
Thanks to all for the thoughts and help!!
I uploaded 1.1.0 this morning and have been working with it.
I created a new album template, attached the Publisher albums to the new album, added new images, and republished everything and still the same result.
Thanks for your time! I'll wait to hear.
Yes. all those settings in Other Publisher Settings are turned off. I saved the settings and republished all the albums and still no ability to download an image.
I removed all the metadata settings and re-published from Publisher but still no download.
In the Album Setting > Image Settings > Photos for Download I have "Create custom download rendition via Publisher" selected. Is this a problem?
I do not see a "Push metadata without updating existing photos" selection anywhere. I have all metadata settings turned off or the fields are empty.
Large Image Presentation is set to Photoswipe.
Still get the No Imput File Specified message.
Thanks for the time!
I have the Image Download button "on" in the Standard Album Template>Large Image Presentation.
But when I click the Image Menu icon in the large view on the website, I get a "No input file specified." blank page.
See http://www.wtgphotos.com/newSVproductio … id=1&pid=1 for example.
Thanks for the help!
Terry
That's great!! It will make reworking my old site much easier. Thank you as always for the time and response!

Before Backlight I had two websites on my Bluehost account.
professional site —> public html/index.php
family site —> public html/family site/index.php
However I cannot see how I can repeat this process with Backlight. Backlight seems to work well for the primary website at "public html/index.php", but I can’t figure out how to have my family site exist in a subfolder and still use the main Backlight admin panel.
Do I just need to move my family site to a new account? or is there a way to keep the same functional structure as before and still use Backlight?
Can I add a second instance of Backlight to the subfolder "public html/family site/" and carry on with a different login and admin panel?
Thanks for the time and help!
Terry
I would like to center the footer and change the font. Which file contains the juicy code I can modify and get in further trouble?
Thanks,
Terry
Ben,
Yes I am on Bluehost.
I found and unchecked ionCube in the PHP Config page for 5.4, 5.4 Single php.ini, and 5.4 FastCGI. And now it works!
Thank you very much!!
Terry
Getting this error message at the bottom of my Pages, except those that have only Album Sets in the main column.

I was unsuccessful trying to finesse Wordpress, so I did a re-install from scratch. Seems to be working now.
Thanks again for all the time to help me out!! I'll holler back if problems arise.
The story is that I had switched from my CE4-based site just before Backlight came out to a WP site based on (wrong) information from someone telling me I needed a more robust ecommerce piece. So I had switched to using a Divi framework from Elegant Themes and Woocommerce. Then talking to someone more knowledgeable, they said the ecommerce piece of CE4 was perfectly fine. I was sick of the complexity of the Divi/Woocommerce piece. So I chucked the Divi site and came back to Backlight. However all that stuff is still there.
I suspect both of you are correct that something from the older WP site is still gumming up the works. I will see if I can clean out the themes I don’t need and see if that helps. I’ll report back.
Matthew, how do I PM you if I need you to look under the hood some more?
Thanks to y’all for the help. It appears I naively thought I could just slap in a new WP theme and move on.
Yes that is the correct address in Settings>General.
Sorry but I still get:
http://www.wtgphotos.com/blog/
And this when I try to access the welcome! post:
Unable to find page with name 2016/10/welcome.

I really think Backlight is a great step forward for TTG as it avoids the cumbersome and slow LR Web module functionality. Great work! Just trying to get it to work for me!
Yes, the settings in WP are Latest Posts.
Looking at the htaccess file, I see lots of rewrites but no redirects. I haven't customized the htaccess file.
Still get the "Unable to find page with name 2016/10/welcome." when trying to load the test blog post.
Stuck on this one. Thanks for the thoughts and help!
Sorry but I am becoming stupider as time goes on....
This is my wordpress landing page, which should have my latest posts. To my knowledge I have checked all the "latest posts" buttons I know and not the "static page" ones.
http://www.wtgphotos.com/blog/
When I then click on the widget Recent Posts > welcome! I get this:
http://www.wtgphotos.com/2016/10/welcome/
And when I click on Visit Site in the WP Dashboard, it takes me to my Backlight homepage:
http://www.wtgphotos.com/
Did I just fall off the onion truck??
Thanks for the help and time,
terry
Great and thanks for the confirmation!
