Just checking if it's worth upgrading from CE4 to Backlight.
In the CE4 CRG, when publishing through Publisher there was no support for "Filename with suffix", only the filename can show up (even though in Lightroom, if you choose "Filename with suffix" to display in the cell, it worked ok).
Has this changed in Backlight? Is "Filename with suffix" now supported?
In the selection gallery, where there is a complete sequence of images, then cell number corresponds to the image numbers.
But in a download gallery, in which the client's selected images no longer form a continuous number sequence, the cell numbers no longer correspond to the downloadable image numbers.
It's ok. Found them through Lightroom > Preferences > Show Lightroom Presets Folder...
Hi,
Does anyone know where the FTP Publisher server settings (TTG CE4) are located? I want to transfer them from one computer to another.
Thanks.
Thanks Rod.
> use the HTML download type.
I don't understand, Matthew (that's what the expression on my face would be telling you if you could see it).
When downloading TIFFs, the time between clicking the download button and the file to start downloading is much longer than when downloading JPEGs. It's much too slow.
Is this an issue with TTG CRG or the web host? Any way to speed things up.
And when a client tried to access the TIFF download gallery, they got the message below:
"Internal Server Error
The server encountered an internal error or misconfiguration and was unable to complete your request.
Please contact the server administrator, webmaster@xxxxxxxxx.com and inform them of the time the error occurred, and anything you might have done that may have caused the error.
More information about this error may be available in the server error log.
Additionally, a 500 Internal Server Error error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request."
Is this something to do with the CRG? or the web host?
Thanks Ben. Download links work now.
Hi Matt,
I re-uploaded the application folder from the CE4-CRG-612 update. I'm not getting the controller error, but still can't download a file from a download gallery. Still getting a "You are not allowed to download this file." message. I PM'ed Ben the link and necessary login details.
Thanks Rod.
Hi Ben,
Just sent you a PM.
Luckily I backed up the old ttg-be/crg/application folder. I just replaced the new one with the old one, but now I'm getting a "You are not allowed to download this file" error when trying to download an image file in a download gallery.
I haven't had such problems when updating before.
I created a download gallery. It worked before updating. Now when I test to see if the download link works, it says
You are not allowed to download this file.
Anyone know why?
And when I go to the Client response Gallery via TTG BE Admin> Dashboard
I get
Unable to process request: Unable to find DAO for SettingsDAO
I'm getting this error in the browser when I click on the selection of download gallery at the top of the TTG CE4 Publisher window:
Unable to process request: Invalid controller ClientController
Anyone know why?
That's it, thanks Rod!
Hi Rod,
I export through File>Export>FTP Publisher. Am not renaming, and all the other download galleries I've created are fine.
I'll PM you the link.
Using CE4 CRG, I'd come across an annoying glitch.
The JPEG file download link isn't working properly. It links to a file with an extra hyphen in the file name that's not there. Hover over the thumbnail and the correct file name appears at the bottom of the browser window.
The file name is changed from 'xxx_xxx_xxxx.jpg' to 'xxx-_xxxx_xxxx.jpg', but only for the download link, so there's a file-doesn't-exist error page.
Neither the original files on my hard drive nor the files in the download folder have the extra hyphen.
I deleted the download gallery and re-created it, but the problem persists.
Any ideas?
Thanks.
> but what I'm wondering is why the text in your image above is on the right? In all my tests it's on the left.
Hi Rod,
Not sure, the only custom.css I have is
.masthead h1 {
padding-bottom: 12px;
}
#pull li#open-nav, #pull li#close-nav {
margin-left: 20%;
I noticed that the download icon disappears on the mobile page, and also on the resized desktop browser and in Lightroom (resized window). Any way to get it back?
Hi Rod,
I'd like to keep the navigation where it is (it matches my website design). All the templates (login, selection and download) are the same.
Any idea how I control the position of the mobile menu icon in Lightroom? It frustratingly just sits over on the right when I reposition the Lightroom window.
Using the G_TEMPLATE in phplugins, can I prevent from the mobile menu icon from appearing altogether, but on screen the normal desktop nav links will still be there? It won't disable the nav links altogether?
Thanks.
Thanks Rod,
I can't get it to position correctly for both desktop resized window and the iPhone screen. I tried margin-left: 20%; , margin-right: 80%; and other variations.
None of them works well.
What would be the cleanest way to remove the mobile icon altogether? I don't really need it because the links sit under the image logo. The mobile menu icon seems unnecessary.
Hi,
How do I get the mobile menu burger icon to sit on the left on the CRG login page? Please find below an iPhone 6 screen grab.

Thanks,
Best regards,

Thanks Rod,
Any idea how to insert the GA code? or how to use the Google Tag Manger code? There are no HTML CE4 CRG pages.
Is there any way to track which clients logged in? When, and which pages, they visited?
Thanks.
Thanks Rod.
Could someone tell me how to remove the shadow under the status bar, please? I've changed the status bar's background colour to white and prefer to remove the shadow along the bottom edge.
Thanks.
Thanks Rod. I wanted to have the image picked from the grid, so it was different for each gallery.
