Was the Watermark checkbox checked when you first published the albums?
Are watermarks enabled in the album itself in Lightroom Publisher? (in the Features tab)
If no to either, then republish the images (enabling in the album if necessary). In Lightroom, make sure that in the Publisher settings that "Push metadata without updating existing photos" is not checked if you need to republish.
I don't see the Theater album on your site.
Ben will need to weigh in on this; that version of Backlight is no longer supported.
You could try rolling back the php version if you host allows. Otherwise, you may need to upgrade to Backlight 3.
I would like to duplicate a website which was build with Backlight-1 to the new Backlight-3
Is there a way to copy certain files from folder site1 to folder site2?
Pages are made from pangolin templates.
Do you need to duplicate? Or did you just want to upgrade the site?
If upgrading, just follow the upgrade instructions.
https://backlight.me/docs/upgrading
If duplicating, you can just download all the site files to your computer then upload them to a new sub-folder or sub-domain. Then log in and make the necessary URL changes in the settings. And then perform the update from BL1 to BL3
Keep in mind, if you're managing albums with Lightroom you'll only be able to control the existing albums and sets for one of the sites.
I can't replicate the problem. I'm having no problems adding to cart with Firefox, Chrome, Opera, or Edge. I might get the spinning thing for a few seconds but the Shopping Cart box always pops up.
Have you tried it on a different computer or a mobile device?
Have you tried it through a differing internet provider? (your home internet vs your cellular internet)
the album set is an Okapi based page.
the video page is Pangolin.
Looks like a different selector is needed for the Pangolin page
try this instead:
/*footer*/
li.copyright {
font-style: italic;
text-align: center;
}
then just search the forum us the search term font size
video id should just be the id number, not the entire url
https://backlight.me/docs/theater-prese … eo-youtube
Are you trying to purchase Backlight or are you unable to add an item to the cart from an album on your site?
I'm unable to recreate this. I'm able to add a physical product after getting the error message
When you say "When I add a pack," do you mean when you Add a Package in Cart > Products > Packages?
something is wrong. Looking at the page source code I see links like this:
<link rel="stylesheet" type="text/css" media="all" href="/ttg-be/galleries/backlight/publisher/gallery/stylesheet/style/2" />
Which is saying that the backlight folder is inside of the galleries folder, which would be totally wrong.
Have you made any changes to the site url?
If you'd like, feel free to email me Backlight admin or guest updater credentials and I'll see if I can find anything obvious. If I can't, then Ben will likely need to take a look.
In the beginning it worked. But at a certain point ( customizing the page) it changed to that what you can see in the link.
what kind of customization are you trying to do?
Looks like perhaps a page template is missing. Try assigning a different album template to the CR album
This looks like you're trying to put a Backlight site inside of a CE4 ttg-be/ folder??
This won't work. Please take a look at the installation documentation.
https://backlight.me/docs/installation
Are you trying to upgrade from a CE4 site? If so: https://backlight.me/docs/upgrading-from-ce4
is this Backlight 2 or Backlight 3?
If you're simply using an folder named ttg-be/ (without all the CE4 ttg-be files) as a Backlight test site, go to Settings in Backlight and make sure that the Site URL is correct. It will need to include the name of the sub-folder in which you're installing your site.
You will need to create one.
Also create a menu set that does not include a link to your Galleries page.
Assign that menu set to the page template.
Assign the page template to your Client Response album template.
See this for more on templates: https://backlight.me/docs/templates
I'm moving this to the Backlight Support forum
use the url to your blog
https://backlight.me/docs/wp-basics#usage
the text in under the thumbnails looks fine to me. I see padding between the words and the edge of the thumbnail frame.
If the album title is too long, it will get cut off.
Font size for both thumbnail metadata text and breadcrumbs can be controlled with custom css.
Content font size is set at a standard 16px. This can also be changes with custom css.
You'll find forum topics on all of these in these "font size" search results: http://community.theturninggate.net/sea … =837573760
I think the copyright start date has to have a date in the field. If you put this year's date, it should end up just being ©2020
Not sure what you mean. Are you referring to the template presets that Matt provides?
Once you go Backlight, you'll never want to visit that Web Module in Lightroom again.
The Backlight version of CRG is very similar to the CE4 version as far as features go; I don't think there have been any major additions.
The Legend now appears in a pop-up window triggered by a Gallery Help button.
But beneath the hood, is all the Backlight goodness, not least of which in no longer needing to design in Lightroom and the ability to publish albums without needing Lightroom. Plus Backlight is compatible with the latest version of PHP. CE4 may not be and if your host upgrades the php version its running, your site could go down.
Backlight CRG is an add-on to Backlight, so you would have to purchase both.
It is possible to show a CRG without links back to the top-level gallery. Just disable breadcrumbs and use a page template that doesn't include a menu item that links to your other galleries.
Have you created a new Pangolin page template?
Have you created new Pangolin-based album templates and album set templates? (you first need a Pangolin page template to create new album and album set templates)
Have you assign your new templates to pages, albums, and album sets?
You can restore the default setting to any template by going to the Templates page and clicking on the name of a template. You'll see several buttons across the top of the resulting View Template page. One of them resets to default.
After you create a new Pangolin page template along with Pangolin album and album set templates, you no longer need the Okapi templates.
If you delete the Okapi templates before assigning new templates to pages, albums, and albums sets you'll be presented with a screen to replace those templates with an existing Pangolin template.
Nothing special about double underscores, it’s just what Matt chose for that ID (you’ll find it elsewhere in Backlight too)
the problem is a "misspelling" in the selector.
You have:
#page_pallet_T1
it should be
#page__pallet__T1
with two underscores
It works fine for me.
Your site isn't currently using that css though.
Can you post a link to a site using that css?
I don't think php version has any affect on css.
As well as set the redirect in the Backlight > Settings > Privacy section?
