Can you customise the login screen for a CRG? It currently appears on the left and looks a bit odd.
those are breadcrumbs. You can turn them off completely by going to Backlight > Publisher > Top-Level Galleries and clicking "Edit" for your top level gallery. Scroll down to "Show Breadcrumbs"
Thanks Rod, been looking for ages for that.
Hi,
Is there a way to get rid of the path that shows when you are in galleries, currently it shows I.E Galleries > Events > Crufts,
I recently had an issue with my website\hosting, so I needed to restore the "custom" & "data". The backup was made a few weeks ago so a few albums were missing, I.E they were in LR\Publisher. After the files were copied back everything was ok with the website and all the galleries appeared apart from the few that were uploaded since the files were backed up. No big deal I thought I could just republish the galleries, this wasn't as straight forward as I thought it should have been.
Trying to republish the missing galleries throws up an error, saying template Id????? is missing, what I found is you have to dismiss the error, double click the album (as if you were going to make a change, click edit) then "mark to republish". Now I know it's not a big deal\issue but as the files are quite large (1.4gb), so a bit of a pain to download every time you've uploaded a new gallery etc. I thought I would just be able to republish and any galleries missing would be re-uploaded??
Or am I missing something?
Blimey this must have everyone stumped :-(
HI,
When view a CRG on a mobile device the "heart" isn't being displayed on the thumbnails, view the larger images the heart appears.
Test gallery here http://tsiphotography.co.uk/galleries/weddings/test/
When you resize the window on a desktop you can see the heart symbol vanishes when you get to a certain size.
Update, looking at the demo gallery Matt has it operates the same way, although once you've selected an image you can see the green heart..
Maybe we could have this as a future wish, it is certainly something i would defiantly have a use for!!
Hi,
I'm trying to create something similar to this,

I believe I can do do by creating a new album set template but can't seem to find a way to make the thumbnails on the index page big enough?
With my album sets I have Album Order set to "Order by Album Creation time" is there a way to pin a portfolio gallery so it is always the first one displayed in the album index? I know I can add slugs but I'd now have to go through all my published albums..
Just a thought have you checked the permission on the directories
Go to Backlight, Publisher, top level galleries, then click on Albums find the album you wish to delete and click, scroll all the way to the bottom "Delete Album".
I'm rubbish at this stuff, so I got my daughter to have a look :-) now it seems a lot better, shortened the "Delivery box" and changed colours, only minor issue the colour for the discount code seems to be linked I.E when you change the wording Discount code it also changes the txt colour within the box, so we've change the colour to a grey so we can read both..
Yes,
Just a thought previously Matt had changed the txt colour in the quantity box delivery method and discount code to black because as you can see The txt is white so is unreadable, so im wondering if this is applied in the fix he supplied?
After you edit the css file as Matt suggested, you have to run Designer > Clear Template Cache.
Hi Rod,
Yes sorry I had removed it, I've now added it back in..
did you take it out of the cart.css file?
I just looked with the inspector and didn't see the code Matt suggested. When I added it to cart.css (again, in the inspector), I can see it making a difference.
Hi Rod,
I wasn't aware i needed a custom css, Matt's says "You can add this to backlight/modules/module-cart/lib/css/cart.css, at the bottom:" which i did but it didn't seem to make any difference?
I don't see your cart using any custom css. Be sure it's being applied to the page template that your cart is using.
Hi Matt, I tried as suggested but it made no difference at all, possibly something I did wrong?
I've applied the 1.2.1 update, if you take a look here
http://www.tsiphotography.co.uk/galleri … ssex_2016/
Add a couple of items to the cart and then when you view the cart the "Apply" button on the discount code doesn't look right and the txt in the "Delivery method" is cut off at the bottom.

1. It's supposed to overlap; the discount input should be padding so that text doesn't fall under the button. And in the update we're due to release (probably) tonight, I've adjusted the size of the button so that it more properly matches the size of the field.
2. I'm not sure what you mean. Perhaps a screen capture to illustrate your point?
3. This should also be fixed in the coming update.
And dood, that ferret ... ADORABLE.

I'm just about there with changing over to the new templates, one last page the cart template,
1. Where do i change the "Discount code" box size, as it over laps with the apply button.
2. "Delivery Method" the box is way too long?
3. With a black page background and white txt, you can't see the delivery option as the txt is also white?
Gallery is here http://www.tsiphotography.co.uk/galleri … ssex_2016/
Add a couple of items and then "view the cart.
I've changed the txt color to red, so it's obvious you can see the issue it the txt is white.
All good thanks Matt!
I think I've found the problem. A label carried over with some code shared between album and album set Masonry layouts, only I missed changing an all-important, single word for album sets ... please try this, and let me know how it goes.
Open the file backlight/modules/pangolin-album-set/dynamic/js/scripts.php.
Change line 21 from:
var grid = $(".gallery").masonry({To:
var grid = $("#albums").masonry({And I think we should be all good thereafter.
Weird. I've not seen this happening in development. Are you ever seeing this same behavior in albums, or is this only happening to album sets?
Only ever in album sets, in the album you can see the thumbnails shuffle about, etc
I've just emailed you a gallery link..
When using a new panoglin Album set with the masonry layout it doesn't always format correctly,
This is an okapi album set with Masonry and as you keep refreshing the page the galleries giggle about to create a uniformed look,

Here are panoglin album sets

As you can see you sometimes end up with big gaps between the gallery index images..
Is there anyway to change the size of the widgets, I.E the cart icon Top right and the CRG icon they are very small?
You can set TTG publisher to push metadata without updating existing photos which makes the update much faster.
Just tried that still didn't work.. the metadata is there in the old template\gallery it's when I change to the new one it doesn't display until i remove all the pictures and r=then republish..
I have created new Pangolin templates and I'm moving my galleries over, however the Metadata is not being displayed in the new Pangolin galleries unless I remove all the images and then re-publish which is a real pain.
The new "Color" option is causing me issues in backlight 1.2,
Setting the Contrast option to white, now means you can't see the cart options when adding something to the cart as the window that appears is white with black borders, setting it to black so you can see the text now means I can't see the cart icon (top right hand corner) as I have a black page background..
The cart icon in the top right hand corner is also very small, is there anyway to make it larger?
