Thanks Matt, Thanks Rod.
Problem solved with the update.
For that embed mode, you need to paste in the full embed snippet, not just the video id. So copy-and-paste the entire embed code provided to you by the site into the publisher settings.
Btw, there's a 6.1.2 version of CE4 Stage available. It's a small update, but it's newer than what you're using.
Hello.
I've uploaded a ce4 Stage Template here with FTP no publisher http://dejourdan.de/de/ttg-be/templates/gallery/rgs/
and the video plays.
(It's actually the folder where my ce4 Stage template resides.)
I've tried using the same template from LR Publisher, giving the same id code and I get this.
http://dejourdan.de/de/marketing/fusion … el-sheikh/
Any thoughts on what may be causing this?
The Vimeo Templates work great.
Thanks
Patrick
Thanks Rod,
The default API Key is ttg9999
You can change this in Publisher Settings in TTG-be

Hi Rod,
Changing the permissions to 777 works. My problem now is authenticating.
This is a re install of Publisher, it was previously authenticated, Ce3 works still.
Where can I find my authorization code? Is this something form CE3?
Thanks,
Patrick
Hi Ben,
Thanks for your explanation. Do I need to change the permissions on the folder from 755 to 777
when I have uploaded to my server?
Thanks
Patrick
Wehn I load my ttg-be folder, into the folder with my pages files, as described in the documentation http://ce4.theturninggate.net/docs/doku … tion_setup
and then try and access the ttg-be/admin folder I'm greeted with a permissions error message.
The default permissions are 755,
If I change the permissions for example to 777 I have access to the folder. Is that then a security problem?
The default permissions on the ttg-be folder are 755. My domain is hosted on a Plesk Server, OS Debian 6.0.10
Is there an ownership conflict with the folder?I ask this because I am having trouble authenticating my publisher plugin in Lightroom with the ttg-be installation.
Changing the permissions on the folder may allow me to continue with my installation, the question is will it cause challenges around the corner?
The other question I have is regarding the Search folder, in the docs file it says move
"Using your FTP client, you will need to move the /search folder into place. Locate the folder at /ttg-be/publisher/search, and move it to the top level of your site (i.e. public_html/search), such that it becomes accessible at http://yourdomain.com/search/."
I want to have two installations of my website, one for English and one for German.
domain.com./de
domain.com./enif I understand correctly, after installation, I should move my serach folder to domain.com
How will that work if I have two installations? Can the search folder sit in
domain.com/en/search
domain.com/de/searchRegards,
Patrick

Hello,Mat
I'm planning a multi language website. If I want to have German and English alt tags,
can you imagine a way the alt tags could come from two different fields? For exmple in a english alt tags from caption and in the German from anotjer field. The hope is to use one file and publish it in two different places.
btw fantastic progression with your 4th generation.
regards,
Patrick
Hi Ben,
Thanks for your reply. We've deleted every thing to do with Publisher- TTG-Be. IN the process of starting fresh.
I will take you up on your offer and send the requested information should we not be able to go forward now.
It would be helpful if we could import product from the old CE4 cart. I'm concerned about importing from our old Cart, and bringing something database related we don't want.
Perhaps you have time to help us through that stage?
Good luck with your progress.
Regards,
Patrick
Hi Ben,
I've not heard back from you.
I have rebuilt the structure several times because of the corruption.
I'm at a loss, what to do? Are we at a point where we need to delete everything connected with Publisher and the Cart? If we start with a fresh database it means 52 Albums with considerable HTML.
What can I do to delete my entire TTG-BE installation however save the products within the Cart?
Hope you can help.
Regards,
Patrick
Hi Ben,
Thanks for your reply. I think we've found a work around that will get us by for a few days.
I'll write you next week. I just hope that teh error message we see is not causing a corruption within the database.
Good luck
Patrick
Hi Ben,
Did you have a chance tp look at the log file I sent?
Patrick
Hello Ben, I hope I catch you today.
I just did the update, seemed to all go well, no error message during installation.
I've updated both the publisher publisher (2.2) and ttg-be 2.03
I tried to rename an Album set and received the following message.
Thanks,
Patrick
You have done so much work to add additional Social Networking icons, thanks and now i ask for more....
I was wondering, has anyone found a way we could ad another icon or substitute one of the included icons for something else? Xing is a major player in the Social network in Germany, https://www.xing.com It would be great to ad it.
ce4 is really great, I like the fact we are able to post one image and not the entire page, great improvement.
I'm using 2-1.3 Publisher.Monday I'll try and produce the problem again, with a screen video.
Thanks for your reply Rod,
Thanks Rod, .... you are right
Good Morning,
Is this a bug or am I doing something wrong?
Problem re naming Album Sets
When I rename the Slug, within an Album Set it cause an error
I seem to be able to recreate the problem.
Album set is on line and functioning
I want to rename the slug
In Lightroom Publisher Ce4 I choose edit Album Set
I rename the Album set and become a message (sorry I never saved the error) saying it can not find the path.
I look online in the PhpLite Admin and see the Album set has been given a new name.
The Album Set is actually renamed on the server, as mentioned, when I look in the Php liteAdmin back end, I see the Album set in the tables and it has been renamed.
The problem is, in Lightroom it is not renamed. and the connection is lost between Lightroom and the server.
Only Remedy i can find.
Delete the Album set from the database tables.
delete the folder via FTP
Start over from lightroom.
If I have moved the Albums out of the Album set before I try and rename the Album Set,the Albums are still connected with the database.
If I try and rename the Album Set in Lightroom with Albums in the Album Set, it corrupts the path on both Albums and Album Sets.
Hello,
I've been using this code in CE3, I'm having problems in CE4.
The first link works, the second does not. The only difference is the back button (called zurück)
I have tried with and without the so called special character"ü".
http://dejourdan.de/de/galleries/a-comm … otografie/
<h2>commercial-fotografie </h2><br><a href="../" onclick="window.history.go(-1);
return false;"><i class="icon-chevron-left"></i> zurück</a>
http://dejourdan.de/de/galleries/b-private-fotos/
<a href="../" onclick="window.history.go(-1);
return false;"><i class="icon-chevron-left"></i> zurück</a><br>private </h2>
Thanks in advance for your help.

Publisher Search error
Hi Ben,
We thought we had the problem under control, Sebastian was looking this morning and believes its a similar problem
as before only on a deeper level. Here is the error we receive, any thoughts?
As you can see the search word was water.

Hi Ben, I think we have the Publisher under control now, thanks. I have another question I will send in PM.
Hi Ben & Rod,
I've been using Publisher for a while now, in the last version (ce3) it was sometimes tricky to get an Album deleted from the server, Publisher within Lightroom would loose the connection. I say loose the connection, likely I had done something to create the problem and in order to clean up the problem, I found a way to delete manually from the server.
Carrying this bad habit forward into ce4 thinking I would save myself time, has costed me a huge amount of lost time and huge frustration. So, the lesson, those that can read have a huge advantage.
To confirm what Ben and Rod have written - If you cant delete an Album within Lightroom/Publisher find out how to do it within phpliteadmin within your ttg-be back end. The back end is fantastic, the documentation is fantastic.
Thanks for all your help and thanks for your patience.
Have a super day.
Patrick
Hi Martin, the golden rule is to let Publisher do it's thing and to not touch the Publisher-managed files on the server via FTP. As you've found, removing Publisher-created albums via FTP breaks things. Publisher can replace photos of existing albums, or update the metadata, so if something isn't quite right, it's straightforward to amend your gallery after it's been published.
I'm happy to go in and look at the database for you. Do you know which albums in particular are broken? If you'd like me to clean them up, please email me the TTG BE admin username and password. (not the guest with full privileges - only the admin can access phpliteadmin).
Hello Rod,
Sorry for the slow reply. Once again, you had the answer. Thanks so much for helping.
Have a great day.
Patrick
I have a pretty simple issue and cant seem to find my mistake. i hope someone in the form has a min to have a look.
Thanks in advance
I have a 1500px single image on my start page .
www.dejourdan.de
page container is at 1500px Auto
The content are for the Block is Mantel 1500 px Auto Content 960 px Fixed
I set a left and right padding at 275px
The text within the gallery page is as wide as the photo on the start page.
http://dejourdan.de/galleries.php
I know this should be easy stuff but am running in a little circle.
What is it that needs to be set to keep the text on the gallery page to stay within the 960 px range?
Thank you.
Patrick
