Hi Matthew,
Can I put in a request, then, for you to add it to your priority list, and a heartfelt plea that you put it as far up the list as possible?
TIA
Jon
Am I blind or has the comparative style been removed from CE4 galleries? I can find it in the client response gallery, but not in the standard galleries. I felt it an important part of my sales galleries, where potential buyers could do some closer comparisons.
TIA
Jon
OK. That's what I thought. I have deleted the folder.
OK. I have successfully activated the custom css link in the phplugins for CE4. What does this mean for the css folder that is still hanging around from my CE3 installation? Do I remove it? Is it still being used?
TIA
Jon
Great. That worked. Thanks Rod.
umm. okay.
I turned on the custom.css reference in phplugins. Then I added the code to the custom.css file, changing the color to black. That didn't work.
Then I delved in the the cart folder and found the modal.css file there and added it to that file. But that didn't work either.
So I guess I need more direction on what to do with the code. I'm probably missing something completely obvious. I am not a stranger to coding, although far from proficient.
TIA.
Jon
Everything about the cart works fine, at least everything I have tested to date. But when adding things to the cart, the field names do not show up. The options for each attribute do, but not the attribute name itself. Also on checkout, when I click the terms and conditions link, a window opens, but the text does not show.
TIA
Jon

So CE4 is different in this respect than CE3, which had a hook? Shucks. It was such an easy way to add flexibility to Pages.
OK. I guess I will have to start over again with the home page.
I am using the flip gallery for my home page. So I want to use a simpler masthead on the flip gallery than the other pages.
I had solved this problem, well, Matthew or Rod told me how, with CE3, using a php plugin, but using that solution doesn't seem to work now. I think it probably has something to do with the name of the page or the way the new masthead is built. Anyway, I would most appreciate it if anyone could give me any guidance.
This is what I had for CE3, with the changes I tried making to adapt it to CE4. I moved the image to the right folder on the server.
// Different identity plate for Home page
function ttg_header_masthead( $style, $path ) {
if (G_STYLE == 'TTG CE4-Pages-home 4.0') {
echo '
<img id="identity-plate" src="/lib/images/identity2.png" width="960" height="140" alt="Hummingbird Photographics" />
';
return false;
}
return true;
} // END
I tried various names in the G_STYLE line, but nothing worked.
TIA,
Jon
I am just about to start upgrading my site to CE4 from CE3. But I just received this message from my ISP about online forms:
-------------------------------
In our efforts to reduce the amount of spam, viruses and offer better security we have instituted inbound and outbound filters for our mail servers. If you are using port 25 for sending mail please make sure you update that to outbound port 587 ASAP. If you are using PHPmail or Sendmail from your hosted website you will need to change that to SMTP authentication using outbound port 587 or your forms will be blocked.
-------------------------------
How does this affect us? What should I be doing to make sure my forms work?
Today I tested my current form (CE3), sending a note from an unrelated address. I got the message through the website okay, but the copy to my unrelated address did not arrive.
TIA.
Jon
